OMG MORE BS Calls!

Taunting?? WTF Worst officials in sports strike again!
-
Both coaches put their defenses in a disadvantageous position with their schemes. Soft zone when that has never worked vs Bengals? sure lets try it again!
-
Wow thats just the kind of start we needed. Lay down and take it. Pathetic!
-
This has to be some of the softest coverage Ive ever seen!

Dawson Knox on his decision to get surgery
Livinginthepast replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
The London game was a disaster on every level, season changing injuries, a conference loss to a weaker opponent, a momentum killer for the coaches and players alike. I wish we could have just refused to play this game and never do another one. -
Bills sign DT Linval Joseph---Elam to IR
Livinginthepast replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well its a bit faint. The injury does not really explain Elam's lack of ball awareness or his propensity to be faked out of his shoes by receivers. That part is still baffling to me. -
Bills sign DT Linval Joseph---Elam to IR

Well I'm glad that part of Elam's mystery has been solved with the IR designation. That actually gives me some hope that he might actually pan out. -
McD is a frustrating coach. He and his staff have shown several times in his tenure that they can plan really well for a team and soundly defeat them in big games (The Miami game this year, the Pats playoff game, KC game last year and a few of the other high profile night games etc). But just as equally McD has embarrassed us with statement losses in big games where the team has looked completely unprepared and unmotivated (The Cincy playoff game being the absolute worst). So what are we to expect this time around? I had a bad feeling at the start of the Cincy game last year where Hamlin was injured. Before the injury the Bengals seemed to be moving at will against us. They continued this without missing a beat in the playoff game and we had no answers. I really hope that McD has cooked up something different for this weekend, because I cannot watch a third version of a beatdown.

Raiders fired HC Josh McDaniels and GM Dave Ziegler.

The NFL has always been a league of bonehead owners hiring bonehead retread coaches. Rich Kotite from the early 90s is a great example of the "why would you give that guy a 2nd chance" phenomena and there have been several others. Josh Mcdaniels is a coordinator at best. Davis seems to be as incompetent and nasty as his father was (except of course without any SBs). -
Elam = Aaron Maybin? Is that a fair comparison? or too harsh?

Week 8 - Around the NFL (i.e. NOT a Bills thread please)

The Chief player looked offside on the block but wasnt. Great play. -

I get that Wilson's skills have diminished that has happened to every great Qb (except for Brady) but its the decision making which has declined even worse. Wilson makes the dumbest decisions ever. -

Pats are crap and the Bills played down to their level. -
The Latavius Murray Spot
Livinginthepast replied to hellofellowbillsfans's topic in The Stadium Wall
So the Officials on the field or in NY saw no need to discuss the spot of the ball on what might have been one of the most important plays of the game? No need for a measurement? If coaches cant challenge, the expectation is that the officials will do their job and confirm a fair spot of the ball using replay. Apparently every single one of them forgot to? What was McD doing at that point? Can he ask? I'm trying to remember if he was aware of how bad the spot was ? -
How was the Helmet swing not a Penalty?
Livinginthepast replied to Einstein's Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall
None of the networks will go against the NFL can do no wrong narrative and that includes the incompetent officiating. Michaels might have seen the fracas but he's so old that his attention span evaporated quick. I find even Romo is now censoring himself when he sees the inept officiating , like he was warned to lay off. -
How was the Helmet swing not a Penalty?
Livinginthepast replied to Einstein's Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall
Another example of the absolute clown world of NFL officiating. The Bills player pushes the helmet facemask of the TB player back but the TB player then pulls his helmet off and whirls it at the Bill. Intent to injure right there and they pick up the flag?? The NFL has the most incompetent officiating of any type of football pro or college. The eye in the sky should have contacted the on field refs and set them straight, if not then , then at halftime. In either scenario, the Bucs player should have been ejected. -
Elephant in the room. Damar Hamlin
Livinginthepast replied to JohninMinn.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
I was wondering the same thing. Bills are in a no win situation on this so I think listing him as inactive is probably for the best. Another question if he was fit to play is it right to return him against the Bengals of all teams? -
Would you be for "Eye in the Sky" officiating?
Livinginthepast replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just give coaches a challenge on penalties. 1 per half. If they are wrong lose a time out. The last thing you want is upstairs calling penalties. There could be a penalty on every down. -
Total offensive PI but do you really expect the incompetent officials of the NFL to be able to see that let alone have the cojones to call the WR for it? No chance! The Hail Mary was run almost perfectly by the Bucs. They protected their QB, threw the ball long enough to the perfect area, created mayhem for the DBs and had a receiver in the area. The Bills by contrast played it the absolutely worst way possible. No pressure on Mayfield, Nobody ball hawking and confusion abounding allowing a receiver to get separation. It would not be so bad if they weren't beaten by the exact same play in Arizona just 3 years ago. Just another example of bone headed coaching.

OMG this team.

Benford with a nice play!

OMG this f'ing defense with one of the stupidest penalties of the last 10 years!
