No one else can see this post besides me. I used the "Auto-Ban" function. The person who banned you can see your posts but no one else.

@Gugny and @ExiledInIllinois are now on banned vacation. Hope you guys enjoy the 30 days away from the board. Maybe you two comedians should read the Terms of Service. Sighonara

You're a little late. @mead107 already provided us with the link above.

Any bear sightings lately??

Ok. Every one of your posts involves a frigged up driver who causes a major catastrophic accident. I’m not big into the “kid that breaks his teeth skateboarding” videos but have fun with these videos. Personally, I think they suck.

RIP Mechanical Bear thread.

This thread proves, yet again, how all things circle back to lock systems and inland waters. The OP was hoping to spark a discussion re. domesticated/trained bears eating salmon while in captivity, and Exiled has related it somehow to locks in the mid-west. Exiled’s ability to link all facets of our society and lives to his career (albeit a part time job) is uncanny.

Yet another contrived illustration of lock management. With all the computer design engineers around these days one would think they would get rid of the blurry lines and off ratio graphics. That’s nothing but a sad attempt at creating the illusion of lock tending. There’s no oil slick, speed boats or wildflower gardens. Nice try Exiled.

https://nypost.com/2013/11/02/love-canal-still-oozing-poison-35-years-later/amp/ Here’s a spot close to the Falls on American side. Very quiet. Green space. Historical. Not a lot of bugs (or anything else that breathes). Plenty of garbage cans around. Bring a tent and live off the land. I’m thinking the cost will be cheap. The reviews I read online are glowing. Have fun!! -
The rules are simple: post a valid link to a real news story that we can discuss. @mead107 saved your bacon in this thread by posting an actual link to bear cams. @Gugny and @ExiledInIllinois have also posted links to librarians and water levels in our lower 48. Your attempts to lure us into watching exhibits at Cincinnati’s municipal zoo where the trainers throw fish into a lazy river fall short. Thanks for monitoring this @Chandler#81

I have very few friends. In fact, I really don’t have a “spill my guts” friend that I have known for years and years. I like hanging out with certain people and have a lot of laughs with certain guys, but my wife is probably my best friend, my kids also and my Dad was my other best buddy that I enjoyed talking with, having drinks and shooting the chit (he passed away this past November). I guess I like where I am in life...family, friends here and outside work, but enjoy some alone time now and then. -
Anyone have to work both Thursday and Friday?

When’s the last time you saw a school of goldfish jumping into the air attacking boaters and water-skiers? They are passive fish and make good meals for Musky, Walleye and even Grizzly Bears in Alaska. (See Bear Cam thread sponsored by Mead007).
