  1. The offense was very predictable and vanilla the first part of 2006 and JP struggled...after the bye, they opened up the playbook more and JP played better. They went back to the vanilla playcalling to start the 2007 season...Fairchild had nothing but **** between his ears when he decided to do that Thank Jason "The Bullfighter" Peters for that fumble...fat and lazy POS I had hopes JP would turn it around when he got his job back after Trent went down in the Meadowlands in 2007...and he looked good for a few games...but then consistency issues came back again and, in all honesty, I couldn't blame Fairchild totally...so you held out hope longer than I did...though I still hope he can turn it around in Seattle...classy guy who tried his best even though his best wasn't good enough...to hate on a guy like that and hope he fails (like some are doing) is pretty lowlife behavior
  2. Seriously? He insulted Buffalo and the fans while he was here and half-assed it his last year here...there's only 2 ex-Bills I despise...Peters and McGahee... :censored:F Willis! Agreed...he quit on the Bills...twice! Said we were out of the playoff hunt when we weren't and rather than fire the worst special teams coach in the league, he quit...did he really think Ralph wouldn't fire Wade's little butt buddy? Williams...fans didn't appreciate how good Ruben was but few wanted him gone They both essentially quit...Polian started fights and Wade literally quit I've yet to see anyone with enough balls to do what Polian did. Yes, Polian will perhaps go down in history as the greatest NFL GM ever and things would be so much better if he were still here...but he's not God...he has flaws like a temper that made him start fights with other high-ranking employees...I think it's ridiculous that Ralph gets all this blame for doing what any boss would do in that situation yet Saint Polian had no fault whatsoever. I don't give a crap if you're the greatest ever at your job...if you're starting fights with other high-ranking employees, you're unemployed.I dare ANYONE to try what Polian did and see if you'll keep your job...everyone shooting their mouths off about this should man up and see if they can get away with what Polian didn't. Everyone's too much of a coward, though. I'd be willing to bet that Polian knows he was in the wrong for what happened, too.
  3. even if you leave out the other stuff that was mentioned, 6 years of committing the same vicious crimes? That's a habit
  4. Raion played SS...Keion and Tillman manned the FS spot
  5. TE-Lonnie Johnson WR-Russell Copeland K-Jake Arians OLB-Eddie Robinson FS-Travares Tillman You left off kick returner PR-Chris Watson
  6. Ralph works in the real world...I dare anyone to start a fight with a high-ranking member of the company you work for...as much as it sucks we let the best GM in the NFL get away, there is no job in which you can get away with starting fights with other high-ranking members of the company. Blaming Ralph for doing what any boss would've done is stupid...Polian's temper and not knowing how to pick his battles were what got him fired. I'm one of the top employees in my company and outwork at least 90% of the whole place...but I'd be out on my ass if I pulled what Polian pulled Clements is in San Fran, not Denver
  7. drugs at the airport...6 years committing vicious crimes...looks pretty habitual As far as the ones who've made 180's, odds are that each of them showed remorse either before being locked up or at least after getting out..Vick still thinks of himself as a victim "It's unfortunate this happened to me" are words that come out of his mouth frequently
  8. Vick's a habitual criminal...not that far a leap to think he was doing something he legally wasn't allowed to do
  9. They still don't get as much snow and cold as we usually do. They were struggling with the hefty amounts of snow they got this winter while we would've considered it a light winter
  10. It'd be so funny if, when all was said and done, Goodell bans him for life after this
  11. apparently, the word "cool" isn't something you're familiar with, bandwagoner Giving up on the Bills AND hoping the region collapses? We can't afford to lose the Bills and everyone knows it
  12. I had a few questions about the pass and got a response today So basically, for those of us who paid up our accounts early and are due a free parking pass, we'll still get that and, if we pay in advance, we could give that away or sell it to someone It's the next-to-the last preseason game...when starters typically play a series in the 2nd half
  13. I think you may be thinking of the PUP list...players can go on the PUP list and be able to be activated after 6 weeks...but I think the way it is now, it has to be a injury from before training camp....not sure about that, though. I think you used to be able to place a player there during camp, though
  14. Fast Freddy hasn't been on the team in a few years and his name was Jonathan Smith. Fred Jackson is known as Action Jackson or, to Marshawn, "Head" Anyway, it's not Roscoe...too tall...looks too tall to be Jackson as well
  15. They're part of the season ticket package...full price. As far as buying a season ticket package after the preseason, that would be tricky. Teams set aside a set number of season ticket packages until the final preseason game. Immediately after the final preseason game, they release the season ticket packages as individual seats. Not sure if you could buy a season ticket package immediately after the final preseason game
  16. He never lost his job to Hobert...there was a competition in camp for the starting job (basically between Collins and Hobert because AVP was injured) and Collins ended up winning. Hobert played in only 1 regular season game for us, when he came in off the bench after Collins for hurt in New England...the infamous game that Hobert didn't study his playbook for. AVP, the 3rd stringer, came in after Hobert stunk it up and held the starting job for 3 more games. Collins took the job back during the home game against the Pats and lost the job again during the Jags game with AVP getting the final start of the year http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/1997.htm
  17. Gonna have to say JP on this one Collins...the only problem that wasn't his fault was the fact that Dan Henning was an awful offensive coordinator for us...a 2-TE base set when we had Lonnie Johnson, Tony Cline, Rob Coons, and a young Jay Riemersma? Talk about trying to fit a square peg into a round hole AVP...his issue was the shoulder injury he suffered in the 97 preseason...he rushed back from it and it never healed properly. If not for that injury, I think he would've won the starting job and performed better than Collins or Hobert by far ...would've never traded for RJ RJ...his biggest issue was the lack of trust he had in his WRs...great WRs like Reed and Moulds are considered open when single covered...plus he was coached to look for the big play while in college...something they never drummed out of him in the NFL JP could put together some solid games but didn't read defenses enough to do it consistently Trent has suffered from 2 problems...he wasn't gutsy enough with Jauron as his head coach...will Gailey be the remedy for that? But his biggest issue, as evidenced by the 24-25 TD-INT ratio, is the fact he doesn't know how to look off safeties. He stares down his intended receiver BEFORE the snap and follows him through his route until he throws the ball his way. It happened on that pick near the end of the game on MNF against the Cowboys and he was still doing it at the Bills Open Practice a few weeks ago...his arm is decent, but it's nowhere near good enough for him to be able to get away with that and have a good NFL career like Bledsoe did He started 13 games in 97...AVP getting the other 3
  18. Schouman...and speaking of whom, I'm curious to see who ends up starting at TE. Derek was having a really strong start to the season last year and Nelson looked like a steal being drafted in the 4th rd. The TE position hasn't been a real strength since the McKellar-Metzelaars years...have a feeling that's about to rectify itself
  19. they're not banned in the lots, just the stadium. Part of the bowling ball shot tradition (if you don't know anything about this, you've been living in a cave or just never been to a game) involves a vuvuzela after downing the shot.
  20. They actually average about 5'5" or so...most are around that height or within an inch or two...the shortest is 5' even with a few girls about 5'1" and there's about a half dozen girls around 5'11" or so
  21. just a few days after Spielman was hurt in a game...which forced Wade to switch to a 4-3 defense the rest of the season, bringing in Sean Moran to play the under tackle position next to Mt Washington and Holocek to play MLB...thing is, Paup all but disappeared in that defense...was never much of a cover LB
  22. Yeah....and he was strong for his size...Marcellus Wiley talked about him a few months ago on NFL Live, talking about how he picked up an O-lineman...and not just a few inches off the ground, either. Marcellus didn't even know Damien had been killed at the time, either I was so pissed when Williams cut Holocek ...and not just because I had just gotten his jersey...his nickname in college was Nitschke...the same college that the original Ray Nitschke attended, Illinois
  23. It's official now....LB Mike Wright is gone http://twitter.com/buffalobillscom/status/16333492530
