  1. Probably true but personally, I might've voted GOP had they not put up a psychotic neo-con for President with a brainless !@#$ as his VP
  2. Polian instigated fights with other people in the front office....if you're gonna blast Ralph for doing what any boss would have done, I suggest you man up and try doing what Polian did and see if you keep your job. If you're not man enough to do it, you know you're wrong on this issue. Butler had plans to leave no matter what...his wife wanted to leave Buffalo...he didn't want to be a real GM...just wanted to be head of scouting with the GM title. Nix has probably handled more GM duties outside of scouting than Butler did in his entire time as a Bills GM. Phillips was insubordinate and refused to fire his gay lover Ronnie Jones who coached the worst special teams unit in Bills history...he essentially quit If one wants to blast Ralph for getting more involved in personnel decisions than he should, that's fine and honest. But blasting him about being cheap is ignorant and dishonest because he's been anything but since the mid-80s...and blasting him for firing people and ignoring why he did it is dishonest as well....and dishonesty is the most disgusting character trait a person can have, IMO.
  3. Maybe if the GOP had put up an actual conservative instead of a psychotic neo-con for the 2008 elections, Obama wouldn't have won...but then, the GOP lost a lot of the public's trust in backing that moron we had in office for 8 years who put us into an illegal war of aggression and started the economy's downslide to fund that war by borrowing heavily from the Chinese
  4. Yeah...but people act as if a 47 yarder on grass is an easy FG to make...that wouldn't have been a gimme for even Steve Christie....and he had a strong leg...Norwood didn't...his gift was accuracy....but he put so much effort into making sure he got enough distance on that kick, his normal accuracy suffered
  5. poor tackling was the story of that game...not a kick that was outside Norwood's range
  6. rumor that came out a few years ago is that Mary WILL get the team upon Ralph's passing with the intention of selling the team to Kelly's group of investors
  7. The Adrian Wilson blitz-caused concussion wasn't the one that did him in...it was the lesser hit against Miami the game after the Chargers game that was never reported as an injury that actually did him in. But concussions aside, he's showing Rob Johnson syndrome...the inability to learn to correct his most glaring problem. RJ's problem was a lack of faith in his receivers...always looking for the big play and wanting his WRs to be wide open before he threw the ball...got that problem in college and never got it coached out of him. Trent's issue is his habit of staring down receivers....before the snap and throughout the receiver's pass route. It's a miracle that he hasn't thrown more picks than he has.
  8. I don't generally save links to news stories from months ago...especially ones that were widely reported on...the franchise's future was cited as a major reason Shanahan wouldn't take the job...Cowher wanted Carolina As far as this offseason, Buddy Nix is the GM now....and considering his excellent record in the scouting department and as the Chargers asst. GM, it's a major step in the right direction. Add Doug Whaley into the mix as the asst GM and director of Pro Personnel and we're looking to be in the best shape in regards to the front office since before Polian let his temper get himself fired.
  9. Donahoe picked the players in the early part of the decade and Jauron had the final call on players since he came in...not every owner tries to run the player personnel dept like Jerry Jones does. As far as cheap with coaches? Try paying attention to the facts and stop making ignorant posts. He pays coaches who have proven themselves better than ones who haven't....which is smart business sense. He was willing to throw $10M at Shanahan...which is more than Shanahan is getting in DC. It's true that Jauron was ranked near the bottom of the league in head coach salaries when he was hired...as he should've been. He wasn't a proven winner. However, the contract extension he signed after that strong 2008 start....made him the 10th highest paid coach in the entire NFL...10TH!!! Ralph is still paying on that $3.5M a year deal...but he's cheap? Do yourself a favor and get your facts straight before making such idiotic statements...unless you enjoy being thought of as a comedian
  10. If only the defense had made some tackles Polian was fired for fighting with Littman and Wilson's daughter Butler as fired because he refused to negotiate a contract extension with the Bills...it's well-known that his wife wanted to leave Buffalo and there was plenty of speculation that there was tampering on the part of the Chargers
  11. Don't know if they did or not...I thought I recalled something on Porter...I doubt Marshall because of his problems and Faneca because we are set at G...Peppers is the questionable one In any event, it's laughable at best to think they have to tell us anything
  12. and that's on Donahoe early in the decade and Jauron since then...not Ralph
  13. I agree...it's supposed to be a case where you vote for the best person for the job. The last few elections, I couldn't...I just voted for the lesser of two evils
  14. Haven't lost faith, but he hasn't performed up to expectations as of yet The fact he hasn't launched WWIII like that psycho McCain would've likely done is a positive in my book, though
  15. Couple points to make here None of us know if they did or didn't pursue any of these players..they don't tell the media everything nor should they be expected to...though the Marshall idea is one I'm kinda glad we didn't get There is no salary cap in 2010
  16. They're Aqua! They're Coral!! They Give Each Other Oral!!! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v234/The...sc/is_00063.gif
  17. You don't need mind-reading skills...just some semblance of historical knowledge of the draft. You bring up some Hall of Fame type players who got selected at #1 Here's some other #1 overall picks JaMarcus Russell David Carr Michael Vick Courtney Brown Tim Couch Ki-Jana Carter Just in the past 15 years...6 busts at #1 overall. A good GM doesn't need a top pick to get a great player...only needs a solid scouting staff and the knowledge of how well a player may adapt from college to the NFL The ONLY thing guaranteed by a #1 pick is getting stuck paying a ridiculously large salary and signing bonus. If you get a player who doesn't work out, whether it be because he sucked like Russell or suffered severe injuries like Carter, your team is !@#$ED for several years getting out from under that enormous contract. Wanting your team to lose is pathetic and shows you're not much of a fan.
  18. bull **** I don't know how much Nix is making but Donahoe...our last actual GM...wasn't exactly cheap At head coach, it's true he doesn't spend a lot on guys who haven't proven themselves to be worth a lot...that's not a sign of being cheap, that's a sign of being smart with your money. After the strong start in 2008, he rewarded Jauron with a major raise. In 2008, under the terms of his old contract, he was about the 31st highest paid in the league. The raise he got made him the 10th-highest paid coach in the NFL with an average salary of $3.5M per year...and considering he's paying him over $8M for doing nothing after he fired him AND was willing to spend in the neighborhood of $10M per year for a coach like Shanahan, to say Ralph is cheap is ridiculously stupid and ignorant
  19. The Booker Edgerson game is when he goes on the Wall The Pissburgh game features Poz in a throwback jersey
  20. He's the only man who can spend 6 years committing vicious crimes, go to prison for lesser charges, get out and get a high-paying job playing a game...yet still thinks of himself as a victim
  21. Losing to get a higher draft pick is beyond ignorant...everyone knows that the draft is essentially a crap shoot. This team needs to win, plain and simple. If you want the Bills to lose, for any reason, you're not a fan
  22. It's the Fish...Squish the mother-!@#$ers like the gay bitches they are
  23. in 93, I went to Darien Lake to see Bon Jovi...I should've shown up late...Bon Jovi put on a fantastic show like always...but Extreme opened up for them and they were awful...they did ok on "More Than Words" but sounded tone deaf on everything else
