When Cookie walked off the field during a game all talks of the wall should have stopped then.

If Poz leaves, will you be upset??
artmalibu replied to Scrappy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I say keep him, we dont have anyone better on the roster. The problem is that a lac of free agent ILBs he will get a much bigger contract than what he deserves. I agree that we should not grossly over pay him, a little bit would be ok. -
Buffalo Favored in only 4 games...

Can place some bets now??? -
Terrell Owens...who will be interested now?
artmalibu replied to Buftex's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This would make him a mid to late season pickup by a team making a run at the playoffs that needs a spark in the passing game. Imagine TOs career ended by a show biz injury. -
We need top rate quality players, the earlier the pick the better the chance of getting a stand out player. To get more second rate/depth players makes no sense at all. The first three picks are players we needed and were taken at good value when we picked them. If Dareus and Miller were both off the board for the first pick then trading back would be an option.
-
Was it Kiper who said maybin was a 1st round talent who is the best pure pass rusher in the draft?
-
I think you right Wanny will make more of a difference than any one player will.. But, Kelsay is important when they run the 4-3 so he is more than depth.
-
whats the point of this thread? Have the Pac even hinted that they would be interested in doing this.

Drayton Florence has a lockout plan...
artmalibu replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
and he is not afraid to get physical, unlike most CBs. -
I would think the # 3 pick is up for trade as long as the offer is right. So the real question is what are teams like the Min. willing to offer?
-
can he be moved to safety?
-
Simple, you don't get a guy like Vince to run a Chan offense

QBs drafted in the 2nd or 3rd round from 2000-2010
artmalibu replied to Phlegm Alley's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am not sold that there is a QB in the draft that is a franchise guy. In the last 10 years only 14 1st round QBs made the bolded list, thats only 50% and a couple of them have not proven to be any better than Fitz. -
All that sounds good, but how much do you want to rely on players who have not been able to play the last 3 years. If we have 2 key guys that we are counting on and neither pan out it could be another long year on defense. I would agree if we can get sanders cheap it might be worth looking into, but I bet there is enough interest in him that he will not be signed cheap. I would love to see us sign 1 or 2 proven guys on defense that can step in and start. Then taking chances on unreliable players and new guys form the draft isnt so bad. With the way our D played last year and looking like its possible several starters will not be returning we need proven players not question marks.

+1 Chan has said that they will be a multiple front team.

Physical freaks vs High Motor/intelligent guys
artmalibu replied to Justice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Since you are talking about all high round draft picks the answer is simple!!! Both, if you picking a top player in college football they should be a physical freak AND high motor guy with intelligence. Once you get to the lower rounds in the draft a compromise needs to be made. -
Another factor to consider is who can they get as a free agent. I would like to see some of the D needs taken care of by proven players that can step in and produce from day one. As Nix said they wont be able to fix all the problems in one draft.
-
If we had a game changer at wr this year we probably would have won 4 more games, the same amount as if we had a game changing front 7 D player. So, the sure thing is the best thing.
-
C+ is real good, hell thats better than the rest of the offense
-
All NFL teams stink at drafting players, not just the Bills. Tom Brady was passed on how many times by every team? How about Curt Warner? I would trade my draft picks away every year for proven players!!
