This is going to hurt, but you’re not as good at reading people as you think you are. McDaniel is an absolute fraud. McDermott is authentic. What you’re perceiving is a wall that McDermott puts up in front of the blood hungry media. And now you see why. They’ll devour you the second you’re down. You’re a good poster, but now I’ll be second guessing your posts. REALLY bad take. And I’m someone who does a good bit of people reading in my career as well.

Lots of people projecting a lot of their own personal issues onto McDermott. Every little thing an indictment on his character. Lots of people are broken records on here the last few weeks. Saying the same negative things over and over and over again.

What I think people are missing in the “league wouldn’t be that stupid” crowd is that this was not a case of a clean league suddenly becoming crooked. You’ll understand how deep gambling and organized crime runs in the NFL from the absolute highest levels (commissioners and owners). These are not far fetched conspiracies but well documented. They are just “kept out of sight”. Most of your favorite players from the 70s and 80s have been involved in gambling/fixing scandals.
