  1. Andrew Billings and Von Miller would make a lot of sense. A true one tech needed to stop the run and an elite pass rusher for a couple of seasons going forward. Not holding my breath this gets done, but I would love it if it did.
  2. Our biggest needs are a one tech DT and a DE. You can't expect to consistently out score opponents in a shoot out; they have to be slowed down.
  3. Ah, I see. Well if the Saints are interested in an injured 31 WR, so be it. The article also states the Bengals are listening for offers for Cordy Glenn, who I could see gets moved before AJ Green.
  4. Doubt it. The Saints have Teddy Bridgewater, who did a great job in Brees' absence, waiting in the wings.
  5. He'll end up getting banned there, too...
  6. LOL...seriously? Did he commit some crime up there and they won't let him in the country?
  7. Lynn simplified Roman's playbook and it made a world of difference. If I recall correctly (off of memory), the Bills offense was top 10 in points scored in 2016. Lynn modified Roman's offense and catered it to Tyrod's abilities, which resembled a college offense, but it was effective. The offense wasn't the problem that year, Rex's defense was.
  8. Next stop for AB, the CFL...IF they even want him.
  9. Lynn is not a terrible HC, rather probably an average HC with a talented roster; I just suspect he might be a better OC. Lynn took over for Mike McCoy who was an awful HC, which that team vastly underperformed. The Chargers had all the pieces in place to make a SB run and failed to get deep in the playoffs in 2018 and did not make the post season in 2017. The Charges are struggling this year and the post season does not look like it will happen. I suspect this is what the FO sees, right or wrong.
  10. My concern is at this point he will fall into lame retread territory. Maybe that concern is unfounded, but he had a fair amount to work with at the Chargers and they couldn't beat the better teams, especially in the playoffs. They never really outscored a quality team. He is probably a better OC than HC, that happens. Lynn did a good job with Tyrod while he was given OC duties in 2016.
  11. I was going to mention this. Flacco was critical of the play calling in the loss to Indy. Elway probably had someone try to break Flacco's neck, and did just good enough of a job to put him on IR.
  12. I recall that Wisenhunt has Pittsburgh roots. He was also the Cardinals HC for a few years before getting fired. I'm wondering if his OC and HC stint has run its course and getting him now would be a typical retread pickup; he's here, then fails to do anything good for 2-3 seasons and gets canned. I'd be more inclined to look elsewhere for an OC, though I don't trust McD to do so (he can't pick good coordinators). He and Beane also needs to be told anything from Carolina is off limits since they can't help sticking their hands in that cookie jar and coming up with stinkers. Not sure what the answer is with OC.
  13. The Dolphins are a scrappy team that isn't laying down on game day, they just don't have the horses to finish the race. Brian Flores is holding the team together...what is left of it. I'm afraid the Fins can be a very good team very soon, assuming they hit on most of their 50 picks the next two years.
  14. The last two games and getting gashed by the run is reminiscent of last year. Same defensive scheme, same MLB with a little more experience and a rookie DT who is a bit undersized. IMO, the DTs should be more traditional one tech guys who can stop the run since that is not the LB's primary role.
  15. I'm not moving the goal posts and I'm not taking a shot at Allen...honestly. I like Josh and think his ceiling is high. Right now there are a number of things he needs to fix, long ball accuracy being one of them. I know the long ball is a lower probability play, but you still need it to keep the defense out of the box and open up the run game and short stuff.
  16. Yeah, that last one was 2-3 yards too long on a wide open WR. I'm sure Rudolph wants that one back. I know deep balls are not easy and also require tracking by the WR, but Josh has been bad with the deep ball. McD or Daboll mentioned it needs work just last week.
  17. yeah, this game kind of dragged on...
  18. His long ball appears to be a lot better than Josh's, at least he doesn't overshoot his WRs by 5+ yards. I'm kind of surprised his comp % is that low this game.
  19. This is a trade I could get behind. Not sure who the OC would be...wonder what Chan Gailey is doing.
  20. Yep. Most of the offense's struggles has been because of Josh's tendency to be sloppy with, and not take care of the ball. I believe we can win with the WR's and TE's we have. Of course a WR1 would be nice, but DE and DT are bigger needs.
  21. Well, Mason Rudolph is a lot more accurate than Josh. I'd also venture to guess that Pittsburgh's offense is fairly simple and easier to run.
  22. It hurts seeing JuJu make those catches. We had Zay Jones...
  23. This should end by 11pm eastern. Are you watching the post game show to get to midnight?
  24. If you are a Patriot fan, you cannot boo refs; that is like booing a Pats player
  25. ESPN did away with it
