Daboll will get cute with his play calling and delve into head scratching territory as he does each game, though typically in the first half.

I'm not so sure about this. I think Poyer will be retained; him and Micah Hyde are among the best safety tandem in the league, and are the quarterbacks of the defense. That is not something that McD would want to break up. If anything, I think a CB is expendable.

This is Goff's 4th year in the league and 2nd year for Josh Allen (who played for slightly over half a season last year). Goff's numbers should be way better than Allen's at this point; couple that with the fact that Goff can't read a defense and you have a grossly overpaid QB that the Rams are locked into for years to come. I'm happy with Josh Allen and still believe the ceiling is high. He just needs to make better decisions, which comes with experience -- and hopefully constant reinforcement by the coaching staff.

Very interesting article. I knew McVay had a lot to do with Goff's success, but I didn't realize to this extent. McVay, and possibly Matt Nagy, are essentially the QB without having to physically handle and deliver the ball. Definitely explains the Rams difficulties on offense during the SB.
