  1. Little do they know they're fooling no one...for years
  2. The refs are convinced the Pats**** have this game well in hand
  3. You're playing the Pats D this week in fantasy? They're going to give you 40 points by the time the game is over
  4. This is going to be 48-0...by half time. J-E-T-S suck SUCK s-u-c-k
  5. Redskins too. They're on this Thursday
  6. She said that? I love her too. ?
  7. Possibly. I'm not sure exactly what happened there
  8. Alright Greggo, time to put a hit out on Brady...first one's on you, just like in N.O.
  9. If only DT would have caught that ball before trying to run
  10. Get this other guy off the air. Can't hype the Pats D enough? Give me a break
  11. Have to root for the Jets...anyone but the Patriots*****************
  12. CJ Mosely is going to play tonight, so that will be a big help. Greggo will dial something up to make life tough and painful for Brady. If the Jets can make the game miserable for Brady, they have a good shot to win. Offensively, Le'veon Bell will need to have a big game and Darnold can't make many mistakes ala Josh Allen. Not out of the question the Jets pull this out.
  13. I'm thinking s/he might be serious, sadly enough
  14. Solid B. Could be an A- if his calls in the first half weren't typically so head scratching. He gets too cute rather than call plays that will win the game before sometime in the third quarter.
  15. DE/edge, as well as OLB depth, are the biggest needs right now.
  16. I don't think Tremaine Edmunds was drafted to be a traditional MLB thumper ala Ray Lewis. The way I understand the MLB position in McD's defensive philosophy is that he is a good pass defender in the middle primarily (which Edmunds is), and assists the DL with the rush defense (which Edmunds is still learning). Tremaine still seems to struggle a bit with gap assignment between him and the DL. Probably not a physical issue, but more following the scheme and communication problem.
  17. Yeah, that was surprising. Someone in the game day thread mentioned a number of those runs were Edmunds' gaps that he did not cover for whatever reason. If true, Edmunds is still trying to acclimate to NFL run defense.
  18. That's the point...Gore got the yards and ran the clock out. I think it is fair to say the end of game play calling was effective for that game. Today, they got a grand total of what, 5 yards and had to punt; not effective. This took little time off the clock.
  19. It's not running up the score. It is preventing the other team from getting back into the game, late. McD and Daboll went into a shell with three draw plays in a row which resulted in a punt and took little time off the clock. It is the offensive equivalent of the prevent defense.
  20. I'm not saying the Bills have to do something exotic with a surmountable lead late in the game, so I see your point about not having the personnel (and experience) at this point. I don't think that they should just go into a shell and try to run the clock out, which doesn't work with draws up the middle. Why not run offensive plays that have been working up until that point? Run quick passes/screens, misdirections to McKenzie, Gore/Singletary outside the line, etc. I'm not suggesting 30 yard attempts (that Allen grossly misses) like they curiously ran on 3rd and 5 earlier in the game. Go with what has worked is all.
  21. McD sits on leads too much. He doesn't always go for the KO punch. In the 4th quarter, nursing a 10 point lead, he ran three running plays through the middle of the line (and punted) rather than trying to get a 1st down and add more points when there theoretically was enough time for Miami to get back into the game. Miami scored a TD to bring the lead to 3. We were fortunate that Hyde recovered the on sides kick and scored to put a dagger in Miami.
  22. I agree with you. The NFL has gone off the deep end with trying to stress offenses, superstar QBs, rules over protecting the offensive player, etc. Defense has nearly become an afterthought; it's being played only because it is one of the three phases of the game.
  23. Just like Micah Hyde took advantage of large gaps he saw open in the Dolphin kickoff line. How often does Micah Hyde's TD happen? How often does a blocked punt for a TD happen? Not often and is usually attributed to a gross error/freak play. Looks like you've had a couple of pints...lol
