  1. Wallace is getting abused
  2. Hughes gets home and drills Mayfield. Need more of that.
  3. Knox and Brown were both open, Josh's throws are off
  4. That was definitely PI
  5. Wallace looked good the first 3 or 4 games, then downhill after the bye. Wonder what happened
  6. Too early to arrive at that conclusion. Let's see what Josh does.
  7. ...missed badly on Chubb
  8. Baker wants to be Gardiner Minshew...benched for the starter
  9. That's a good point. McD didn't fear Haskins' passing threat, but will have to respect Mayfield. Chubb and AP are similar in stature, but Chubb is faster than AP. He'll be a handful who you don't want to get going to full speed. I would guess Oliver will be limited in playing time again in favor of Jordan Phillips, Star, and Taylor.
  10. The same one that stopped AP in the second half last week?
  11. Isn't everyone?
  12. He's hardly been used by SF, Seattle, or Chicago. That's three teams where he rarely started. Pass.
  13. Hopefully that will be fixed for the Cleveland game. That still leaves the pass rush to improve. I don't necessarily care about sacks, but Mayfield needs to be pressured and he will turn it over, or at least be inaccurate.
  14. But is he consistently taking on two blockers? I would think if he was, there wouldn't be a rush defense problem since the LBers would have a clear shot at the RB; unless Milano and Edmunds are not getting the gap assignments correct, and are out of position when the rusher runs past the defensive front.
  15. Overall, I really like this board and think it's good as is. Hapless told me to say this.
  16. True, the offense still needs some help. Another WR and probably OT and OG. The defense needs a DE and one tech DT, plus LB depth. Even with an addition on offense who is in the top 10, as well as D-line help, I still think the best McD does is AFCC. I don't think he is a SB caliber coach, at least not at this point.
  17. That's fine. Where am I wrong? I'm not saying i'm right, I suppose I am looking for your thoughts. Fair enough. Just remember, the knock on Andy Reid is that he gets to the playoffs, but usually falls short of the SB. I know, he did get there with Philly and lost to NE.
  18. Have to disagree with this article's implication that McD is somehow outperforming; I think he has enough talent to be exactly where he is. In a way, he might even be hurting himself with his coordinator selections as I'm not sure they're any better than mediocre. Miscues on special teams probably cost us the Pats game; Philly also took advantage. Daboll, while sometimes good, negates this with dumb play calling; where the offense is probably too complex for a bunch of guys in their first or second year in the system, including a young QB. Frazier, in my opinion, is too conservative for modern offenses and OC's; he would probably fit in better 20-25 years ago. HC's who have a smart offensive mind, such as Pederson and Belichick, are going to run him over every game. I think McD can get this and future teams into the playoffs, but most likely is one and done. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree (Andy Reid).
  19. All this talk about wanting the Chargers to win, I want to see the Bills win. Besides the games we should win; Cle, Den, NYJ, Mia, and Pitt, get a win off of NE, Dal, and Balt.
  20. 2nd at the most. Doubt McD or Beane would do this...LA is not Carolina
  21. Rivers is done. He should retire after this season, or next halftime
  22. I didn't think the over would win this game, but it did
