That is a very low bar that has been set. This defense, the one on the field today, is not a top 10 defense. I agree with what you said in an earlier post that at 6-3 it is too early to call for McD's head; the organization can't keep doing that and expect to be better than 7-9. But McD needs to change the way he coaches, as well as what he expects from his coordinators.

I disagree. Everyone HATED Roman when he was here. The offense couldn't score points. It wasn't until Roman was fired and Anthony Lynn became OC and called the plays did the offense become top 10 in scoring. Baltimore's success is due to John Harbaugh; been that way for years. It is no mistake they recently won a SB and could go again this year.

Roman looks good because one of the better HC's in the league in John Harbaugh sets the direction. That is something Rex obviously couldn't do, McD isn't doing, so these OC's are left to their own devices. A competent OC can overcome this since they understand their players and shape their scheme to their players. Agree on this being the last OC McD hires. Pegula and Beane should hire an offensive guru/consultant who will pick the OC. McD will have to live with that.

Taking off and running from what I can see, as well as short, quick slants which is what we should be running. It isn't the deep ball; he has the arm, not the accuracy.

Play calling is not the problem? So on 3rd and 3, it is smart play calling to dial up a 30 yard pass, even though Josh's completion percentage of 20+ is like 10%?

Baltimore's D is good enough, and has been getting better each week. The Bills will get destroyed by Baltimore.

Josh Allen hasn't been good, this much we know is true. But neither has Mayfield or Darnold. Could it be that these guys still need more time against NFL defenses? Could it be that these three have s**t for OC's, especially Allen? Put Allen in Baltimore, Seattle, NE, or even Arizona and I'll bet he's MUCH better...just a hunch.
