She seems borderline lunatic. You should have seen some of her IM's to the UB girl.

Is Beane The Best GM We Have Had Since Bill Polian?
Happy replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, true. The difference now is that I believe McD has a vision of the team he wants. Marrone seemed to muddle through things, along with his sidekick, Hackett. Rex was a disorganized boob and a blow-hard. Not to make this a Whaley thread, as we've had enough of those, but it is hard to see any GM succeeding with those two. -

Let's not pretend that coaching (Marrone and Rex) didn't have a lot to do with the mediocre records. -
Screw Rotoworld's Buffalo Bashing
Happy replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Since AB voiced his displeasure with Big Ben and the Steelers, one would think any mature individual would welcome a change of scenery - especially a team on the rise. If AB, or anyone else, doesn't think the Bills are an up and coming organization, they haven't been paying attention. I'm not concerned about Rotoworld, ESPN, etc snark since that is what they do. Not out of the norm for them. As far as Buffalo being cold...NE, GB, Pittsburgh....none of them are cold, of course ? -

This ^. Let's see what the two of them do this off season and upcoming season; they have a lot of capital to work with and have already made some badly needed staff changes. If the Bills are in the same position they're in now personnel wise, I'll be worried a year from now. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and I think they'll come through. -
What really happened: Beane trolled the Steelers and AB
Happy replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I do not think it needs to be made complicated or a story fabricated. I believe Beane made a real attempt to trade with the Steelers for AB. The two teams got a deal worked out. Only problem is it needed to have AB's agreement for him to come to Buffalo. AB didn't agree and did not want to come here. End of potential deal. Time to move on. -
Getting rid of a bund of high cost players who underperform their contracts (Darius for one) is part of it. We paid the price for Overdorf's terrible contracts last year. Nobody said anything about a culture of swell guys, just guys who actually care about football and the team and put it before themselves. It has been 2 YEARS...at least give them this year with $80M in cap space and 10 draft picks.

Maybe you should be a Patriots fan. There might still be some room left on the bandwagon. A few might have fallen off in disgust over the Robert Kraft fiasco. Look, this is the first coaching staff in a long time that actually has a plan and is following it. I'm not a Process cultist, but I see what they are trying to do and am giving them this off season and upcoming season to prove it.

Come on, man. At least TRY to see what is being built here. Why did JA do more damage with his feet? Because we had receivers that couldn't get open and an OLine that couldn't block. These problems are being addressed in the draft and FA. He was a rookie who didn't start the season and was injured through several weeks. Does he have so accuracy issues? Yes, but those should be easily fixable. He has a cannon for an arm and is not afraid to use it; a WR should WANT to come here now. So you're going to list Boldin (who quit pre-season) when you're telling others to keep their head in the sand? How is Boldin's activism career going? Screw AB. I hope he goes to the Redskins where careers die.
