Buffalo Bills schedule released...
BuffaloBillsForever replied to SBUffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brutal schedule. We will be lucky to match our win record for last year. -
Speeding ticket in southeast georgia yesterday
BuffaloBillsForever replied to The Poojer's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Is your radar gun time and date stamped with the recorded speed on the display? If not this is something I would grill the cop on. I would also ask if it was calibrated and if he says yes, ask for documentation/records for that shift that it was calibrated. -

I will go beyond "good" and say this is an excellent re-sign by the Bills. -
For me it was The Wire. I thought it was a pretty good show but could have been better. Season one was great with the Barksdale crew. Season 2 wasn't as good with the port crew but while I was watching I imagined they can set this show up for some truly epic interconnected storylines. I was really hoping for a Avan and Stringer mutiny and a full out war for season 3 and beyond ...but it didn't happen. The show wasn't as good once Marlo took over the streets. I liked all the political and police storylines but the school system plot seemed like a lot of filler. The whole " faux serial killer" thing was a bad way to end the show IMO for McNulty. All in all I did enjoy this show though. Over the last the 2 years I binged on Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, The Wire and Mad Men. Since watching Breaking Bad nothing has come close to its quality. If I had to rank these shows I would go Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire (show isn't finished yet), The Wire and then Mad Men. Probably will binge on Sons of Anarchy next.

Jairus Byrd [was Jarius Byrd]
BuffaloBillsForever replied to Iowabillsfan4life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The irony...with our dysfunctional front office and all. -
It certainly isn't putting a winning product on the field. I thought Brandon had full resources and would leave no stone unturned? Its scary that Whaley just mentioned this on WGR as a part in looking at the decisions regarding Byrd. Also it falls in line with the speculation of overdorf and littmann.

It's also stuff alot of informed fans already knew about in the back of our minds regarding "the old guard". The only difference now is that it is taking off in the media and not just some whispers on a message board which have frequented this issue for close to a decade now from what I can remember...maybe even longer.

Quick pulled a "Hasek" in the Russian game. As a leafs fan I always remeber Hasek knocking the net off with nobody around him. Too funny. I bet Putin is pissed...lol

Don't forget about a top 10 defense too! I think this is a team next year that can make the playoffs with Hoyer as their QB. I could see Pettines defense carrying this team. Now if they hit this 2014 draft I think they are in great position to build sustainable success for many years to come. This is how dynasty's are built. Not many teams are in the position that Cleveland is in with their current core, cap space that gives them flexibilty with their core of players and free agency as well as their superb 2014 draft position.

Pepper Johnson to Bills Staff as D-Line coach
BuffaloBillsForever replied to BRAWNDO's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You did post that link, but you also said something along the lines of a factual statement like "my sources have told me Johnson is going to the Texans, it just isn't confirmed yet." So you are just admitting then that your "sources" are just educated guesses based on public information and public media speculation. -
Faulk..Love his Hate for the Pats*
BuffaloBillsForever replied to plenzmd1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have seen similar interviews with Kurt Warner regarding the Patriots. I don't blame them for the animosity they feel from being robbed of a champsionship title. In fact as the Brady/Belichick window closes the more I hope Warner and Faulk speak out regarding this topic. -

I love how bandit27 was claiming in the shoutbox a week or two ago that his "sources" said that he was going to the texans and I quote something along the lines it's a done deal, it's just not official yet. BTW, surprising and an excellent hire by the Bills front office. I'm impressed with this one.
