  1. I heard Howard on the Billy Joel channel in the car today. Channel 4 on sirus/xm.
  2. Brutal schedule. We will be lucky to match our win record for last year.
  3. Is your radar gun time and date stamped with the recorded speed on the display? If not this is something I would grill the cop on. I would also ask if it was calibrated and if he says yes, ask for documentation/records for that shift that it was calibrated.
  4. I will go beyond "good" and say this is an excellent re-sign by the Bills.
  5. I don't know. If Walter White can take out the cartel (gus) and Uncle Jacks crew I don't think he will have a problem with a few of Marlos hitmen. Uncle Jacks crew > baltimore street gangs IMO. That would be some amazing tv actually.
  6. For me it was The Wire. I thought it was a pretty good show but could have been better. Season one was great with the Barksdale crew. Season 2 wasn't as good with the port crew but while I was watching I imagined they can set this show up for some truly epic interconnected storylines. I was really hoping for a Avan and Stringer mutiny and a full out war for season 3 and beyond ...but it didn't happen. The show wasn't as good once Marlo took over the streets. I liked all the political and police storylines but the school system plot seemed like a lot of filler. The whole " faux serial killer" thing was a bad way to end the show IMO for McNulty. All in all I did enjoy this show though. Over the last the 2 years I binged on Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, The Wire and Mad Men. Since watching Breaking Bad nothing has come close to its quality. If I had to rank these shows I would go Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire (show isn't finished yet), The Wire and then Mad Men. Probably will binge on Sons of Anarchy next.
  7. The irony...with our dysfunctional front office and all.
  8. Not word for word but we have to look out for the best interest of the Buffalo Bills...then he made a reference about the best interest of Mr. Wilson.
  9. It certainly isn't putting a winning product on the field. I thought Brandon had full resources and would leave no stone unturned? Its scary that Whaley just mentioned this on WGR as a part in looking at the decisions regarding Byrd. Also it falls in line with the speculation of overdorf and littmann.
  10. It's also stuff alot of informed fans already knew about in the back of our minds regarding "the old guard". The only difference now is that it is taking off in the media and not just some whispers on a message board which have frequented this issue for close to a decade now from what I can remember...maybe even longer.
  11. I look at this front office mutiny as a good thing. We have people currently in the organization that are coming to realization what informed fans knew a decade ago.
  12. Quick pulled a "Hasek" in the Russian game. As a leafs fan I always remeber Hasek knocking the net off with nobody around him. Too funny. I bet Putin is pissed...lol
  13. Don't forget about a top 10 defense too! I think this is a team next year that can make the playoffs with Hoyer as their QB. I could see Pettines defense carrying this team. Now if they hit this 2014 draft I think they are in great position to build sustainable success for many years to come. This is how dynasty's are built. Not many teams are in the position that Cleveland is in with their current core, cap space that gives them flexibilty with their core of players and free agency as well as their superb 2014 draft position.
  14. For those that have downloaded the Onslaught DLC how big is the install file? I currently have to watch my download bandwidth. Thanks for the help in advance.
  15. Offense (good QB's especially) wins you games consistently to get into the playoffs while the defense wins you championships.
  16. Denver played so poorly that they had the ability to give me that sick feeling in my stomach. This game actually brought back many bad memories of past Bills superbowls. Such a strange feeling considering they are not even playing in the game.
  17. You did post that link, but you also said something along the lines of a factual statement like "my sources have told me Johnson is going to the Texans, it just isn't confirmed yet." So you are just admitting then that your "sources" are just educated guesses based on public information and public media speculation.
  18. I have seen similar interviews with Kurt Warner regarding the Patriots. I don't blame them for the animosity they feel from being robbed of a champsionship title. In fact as the Brady/Belichick window closes the more I hope Warner and Faulk speak out regarding this topic.
  19. I love how bandit27 was claiming in the shoutbox a week or two ago that his "sources" said that he was going to the texans and I quote something along the lines it's a done deal, it's just not official yet. BTW, surprising and an excellent hire by the Bills front office. I'm impressed with this one.
  20. Here is the article that contradicts my statement where Favre had small hands. Let's just hope EJ Manuel doesn't become Jim Druckenmiller. http://www.eagleseye...lly-matter.html
  21. Nevermind. Looked up Favres and it's 10 and 3/8. Would have never thought that.
  22. Brett Favre who is arguably the best cold weather QB of all-time didn't have large hands. Tom Brady's hands are not huge either. I don't like the idea of scouts focusing too much on one criteria whether it's large hands, how fast a player is etc.
  23. Take Schwartz for instance. He is owed 12 million from the Lions with his previous contract from the Lions but we didn't hear anything about the terms with his new job with the Bills?
