Yeah. But he was bad in his rookie year and teams picked on him. Got hurt and struggled for a bit. Then there was small sample near the end of last year that was above average and everybody wants to crown this guy the next Revis.
-
You just proved my point that he struggled against all these teams. Those were just off the top of my head...I'm sure there are more.

This guy has been exposed by many teams other than the Jets. He is not even close to that calibre. The Browns, 49ers, Colts, Seahawks, Dolphins have picked on this guy with great success. Not to mention all the holding penalties this guy gets. He is not even close to an elite CB right now. Not very convincing. Bandit is dismissing his first year and half and cherry picking a small sample size. His entire body of work so far in the NFL is not even close to being at an elite level. Don't forget we are under a new scheme this year that will not be beneficial to his agressive style. A lot of the sucess with the secondary last year was because of the great pressure with the scheme from Pettine.

LOL @ the thread title. When teams see Gilmore in man to man they attack him. That was the plan with Gilmore when matched up to Stephen Hill in his opening game and teams have continued to pick on this guy throughout his career because he is easily exposed.

Also keep in mind MH 370 was at cruising altitude on auto-pilot before it turned off course. This fits with the timing and possibility of one pilot leaving the cockpit and getting locked out. Also keep in mind there was no protocol with Malysia airlines that two people have to remain in the cockpit at all times (if one pilot left another worker on the plane would have to enter). This protocol was changed after the dissapearance.

Based on the evidence it seems like a simple theory of what happened IMO. Last communication by the captain. Acars and transponder turned off. Plane turns around and is navitaged by someone obviously that has superb flying experience. ....I believe what happened based on the evidence is the co-pilot went to the washroom and that was the opportunity for the captain to isolate himself in the cockpit. Then you have a situation of someone being very experienced behind this plane skillfully navigating avoidiing interference and communication from the ground.

I would not be surprised if the Browns are in the playoffs next year. Bills for that matter too. -

Reminds me of the Buffalo Bills in superbowl 25. -
WR Stevie Johnson traded to San Francisco 49ers
BuffaloBillsForever replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is my line of thinking as well. You end up bumping Stevie off and raising bad football players like Graham, Hogan and Easly up on the depth chart. Our depth at WR is horrible. Trust me injuries will happen. I don't see this team as a playoff team. I don't trust Manuel, our WR's are raw and IMO we have a poor secondary that will get lit up under our new scheme. This team lacks major depth at QB, OL, WR, CB, LB and S. -

And this is from a 16 game sample size that produced average to below average production at the position (Woods and Goodwin) and comparing it to Johnson who was hurt all year. Williams who hasn't had a better career than Stevie and Watkins who hasn't played a down in the NFL. -

I find it funny that people are quick to ship out the only WR on this team that has shown capable to repeat above average skill at the WR positoin in the NFL in favor of medicore to average small sample sizes (Goodwin and Woods) , a question mark in Williams, and TJ Graham who is perhaps one of the worst WR's in the game. When we add talent in Watkins why can't we keep our good players currently on the roster instead of trying to replace them? This move seems kind of ass backwards considering the FO myopic goals as of late. -

Graham - Shouldn't be on a NFL roster Woods - Unproven but perhaps could be a #2 Goodwin - A burner Watkins - High upside to be a #1 but has never played an NFL game Williams - HUGE wildcard on and off the field. We traded our most reliable WR at a time our starting WR core is very raw and unproven. However the bigger issue with trading stevie is losing a proven body that can play the position. Injuries happen and we have horrific depth beyond these guys. I don't think we are good enough or have the depth that makes it smart to trade a guy like Stevie. -

Yes the Browns did an excellent job. With their current core and with this draft they are stacked with young talent. Not to mention they have multiple high picks next year too. Future is bright for the Browns. -

Browns are building a sustainable winner while the Bills just went "all in" with the goal not to win the superbowl but to make the playoffs. -
RD1, Pick #4: WR Sammy Watkins - Clemson
BuffaloBillsForever replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who dares wins? Cleveland continuing with building that dynasty. Like this move for both clubs honestly. Watkins is a beast. -
A bottle of No. 3 gin, ice and a lemon. Beef bone marrow smeared on a toasted croissant seasoned with sea salt. 1 pound of Lake Erie Perch, onion rings w/ a side of tartar sauce. Brasied short ribs, buttered pappadardelle, romano cheese and black pepper. A slice of Bocces extra cheese and pepperoni pizza

Just got back from the OTB to cash in a $1 Trifecta on the derby for a cool $1600 (CAD) and change. The lady had to go to the safe to pay out...lol.
