  1. The Bills and McD hadn’t committed to Tyrod since before this season. So they were never sold on him. Tyrod was nearly a FA, they didn’t pick up the option. Tyrod chose to come back to the Bills while they were looking for other options. When he took a pay cut they probably figured, why not, and then let him see if he can run the offense they want to run. It hasn’t worked, so on to Peterman the Bills go.
  2. Here's the biggest problem with Tyrods play so far and possibly why McDermott made the switch: Tyrod lead offense PPG when defense has +2 turnovers - 23.8 Tyrod lead offense PPG when defense has 1 or less turnovers - 9 There is a canyon between those 2 numbers.
  3. They might end up getting a home playoff game, in Los Angeles. It's certainly looking that way. Do the fans show up though?
  4. The rush, I believe, is because McDermott thinks he is saving the season by going to Peterman He thinks he can win with Peterman. He thinks he can play better than Taylor. Whether he's right or wrong we shall find out tomorrow.
  5. I’ve said this in other threads but the Bills had moved on from TT at the end of last season, he was going to be a FA. They only took him back because he took a pay cut but they certainly weren’t begging him to come back. When TT had signed back with the Bills, Dennison had already been hired as OC. The Bills had committed to doing things offensively before TT signed. I think they are committed to the long term so they haven ideas of what they want to do offensively long term. They aren’t going to change them for TT but we’re going to give him every shot to succeed.
  6. The Bills weren't "committed" to Taylor in 2017 so why would they be scared if he took them to the playoffs? The only reason the Bills wound up with Taylor this offseason is because he chose to come back, the Bills were ready to move on. They weren't chasing him. They were looking for other QBs, they'd already hired Dennison. Taylor knew the offense was going to change. So this idea that they'd be scared of what it meant for 2018 simply can't be true Which would be better for the Bills long term, they build around Taylor OR build the offense as they see fit for the long term? And I'm not saying Peterman is going to be the second coming, I'm just saying they want to run the offense that they want to run.
  7. They wanted nothing to do with him this year, why would you think they would commit to him next year? You’re acting like Tyrod is signed to the team for the long term. Tyrod is in no way, shape or form got hosed. He chose to come back to the Bills. The Bills declined his option, making Tyrod a FA, Tyrod could of gone to any other team. He didn’t. He came back. Dennison was already in as OC and the Bills were looking at other QBs. Tyrod knew exactly the type of offense he was coming back to. Let me ask you this: The Bills obviously have a plan on how they want to build this team. They had this plan before the resigned Taylor. They want to build long term. Should the Bills have built an offense around Taylor not knowing if he could step up and improve, or built an offense looking towards who they want to eventually be? And btw I’m not a fan of the Dennison offense but this is what they chose to do.
  8. I’m hoping with the quick passes, it should help extend drives. With extended drive should come extended targets. I dont have any any hope that Peterman will be the second coming of any QB but he does fit the Dennison offense better than Tyrod.
  9. Tough to know really, but if you have to start making excuses for his play, then it won’t be long. Personally it won’t be so much about the record the team has. DeShaun Watson is 3-3 since he took over. I don’t think anyone would deny that he’s certainly shown something. Is Peterman at Watson’s talent level? Obviously not as they are different players but I need to see something.
  10. They certianly are valid, I just expect to hear a lot of that. It’s funny but a guy like Watson, there were no excuses. And yea Watson’s talent level is much higher.
  11. Th excuses for Peterman are already prepped and ready to go: -it’s his first start -hasn’t had time with the starters -he’s a rookie and so on and sononso on
  12. Geez, I hope they still do.
  13. For me, it’s a combination of things but I’m certainly not in love with the system. As Bill Belichick said last season, it’s the same exact offense as it was 15 years ago. Coaches like K. Shanahan and A. Reid have severely tweeked the WCO. Unfortunately Rico is not that guy. Dennison was not McDs first choice for an OC, it was Mike McCoy. McCoy is a much more adaptable OC. He’s had different offenses for Orton, Tebow, Manning and Rivers. I honslty hope hope he’s not around when the Bills draft a QB.
  14. Instead they would rather trot Tolbert out there every week, so we can watch how terrible he is on swing passes and option runs ??‍♂️ Unbelievable.
  15. They could have done that by drafting Watson, who looks like a stud.
  16. Couldn’t have said it better. And as you have also I’m not for firing them both, have to see the plan through but my god they have made some questionable decisions, all in the name of this supposed process. And why the hell can they not find a serviceable RB2?!?!
  17. Well I’m turning it off, have better things to do. Enjoy the rest of the game guys
  18. Why why is Tolbert ever out on offense?!? I’m seriously getting sick of seeing him. It it reminds me of Boobie Dixon, when he was the only running back on the team.
  19. Untouched TD run. #TrustTheProcess
  20. Gotta keep running the ball
  21. The writing was on the wall for that one.
  22. Playing more but not really playing any better IMO. The Jets targeted both Thornton and Washington in the run game. They both have piss poor gap descipline at times.
