The way I look at it the Bills current WR group is missing a speed outside guy. They’ve got lots of possession guys and Benjamin. If the Bills resign Matthews, who will certainly ask for what Woods got in LA, I think there is little chance they also resign Benjamin. Don’t think the Bills would look to commit that much money to the position. I’d prefer they focus on resigning Benjamin who is a #1, if things work out, at this point and draft a speed receiver. They don’t have to draft one early. Otherwise they are resigning Matthews and need to draft a #1 in 2019. A better WR group to me is Benjamin on the outside, Zay in the slot and speed WR on the outside opposite Benjamin.

Well of course there is no reason to give home a “Woods type contract” but you can bet both he and his agent will be asking for at least that based on previous production. The Woods contract will be the starting point for Matthews, at least. And there is a reason to pay a WR if they intend on drafting a QB, they just won’t be paying for both KB and Matthews when they can draft one and go cheap for 4 years.

Not for nothing but he could have countered and adjusted what he was calling. How about some screens? Lesean McCoy had 0 receptions. How about spreading the defense out? Why have Tyrod under center so much? He in my mind doesnt deserve the majority of the blame but he does deserve a large portion. He was outschemed last night and had no answer.

For me its: OL - 30% DL - 30% Rico - 25% McD - 7.5% Turnovers - 7.5% The OL was bad, they faced a good front but the Bills had all but shut down Gerald McCoy and Mack in consecutive weeks. And while the OL was bad the DL was just as bad. The Jest certainly deserve credit for going after Washington/Thornton, this 2 has the worst gap discipline Ive seen in some time. The Jest saw it and ran it down the Bills collective throats. To add to the DLs poor run stopping ability, they were just as bad generating pass rush.
