    I'm pretty calm, because unlike the last few years, my expectations are in the tank. I had quite a bit of hope for a while, but nah... anything more than 6 wins this year, I'll be pleasantly surprised. Hopefully we build a foundation to work from, and can start to actually improve

    Hopefully wherever he goes, he finds success (just not against us), I like the guy. It's really too bad his development was so screwy here.

    Which is exactly why I consider it an upgrade. If he's not on the field, he's not producing.

    I'd say we upgraded Safety (Aaron didn't provide a lot of utility lately due to injury), and got a lot worse at CB. If Seymour takes a step in the right direction and we draft another good CB, we'll be ok.

    Indeed. And also you need players on your team. Brock isn't great, but there are worse QBs than him.

    Not rebuilding, but we certainly aren't looking great so far. Keeping low expectations, hoping that McD can implement a foundation to build on (but will most likely be fired in two years-three years, because that's what we do).

    I guess it's a chicken/egg thing. Is Roman's offense heavy on out routes because he likes to play ball control/take few chances, or did he design his offense that way because he 'knew' Tyrod couldn't make throws over the middle for YAC?

    Exactly.. I'd only trade him if we can get a team to overpay for him, otherwise our best bet at playoffs is still with Tyrod (I'd still like to see us draft a QB this year).

    Or that's just the reality of how much the position costs.

    I'd only trade Tyrod for either the #1 pick, or a package of picks including a couple first and second rounders, personally. But this is only if we're planning to go full tank mode.
