  1. No way a running QB stays healthy long term. So he may be good, but unless we have an equally as good backup, it won't matter much, because Tyrod will miss multiple games a season.
  2. We're going down in flames, the time is now to make some really questionable moves.
  3. Endlessly pisses me off.
  4. Sometimes they fall for it. Humans make mistakes. If we want a mistake free game, every play would be reviewed for 30 minutes from multiple angles to review all players actions.
  5. I think penalties should be reviewable, keep the same rules for how many challenges could be made, etc.
  6. Same ****, different year. We always hold out hope like this in October/November. This team sucks. Past teams have sucked. Just forget the playoffs.
  7. Why should they? Bad calls happen in real speed. The WR flopped. The ref saw a defensive player putting his arms out, and the WR falling, so it's easy to call PI on that. Sometimes they get it wrong. Every team in every game has blown/missed calls happen. The Bills are not special.
  8. He's a damned good player still. But, for monetary reasons I could see him being gone after 2016 (and I think Meatball will be gone then too). We're gonna need to do some stellar drafting this year and next. We still need a franchise QB, and soon starting DTs and DEs. Ouch.
  9. 3rd string OLB/DE is bad? How is this news?
  10. While I wouldn't be surprised if Whaley is fired, I'd be disappointed. I can't think of anything he, or another GM, could do to turn this team around, realistically speaking. It's a crap shoot finding QBs in the draft, and none of value are available in free agency, generally speaking. Hopefully Tyrod comes back and lights it up, otherwise... this team is screwed for the next few years, at the least.
  11. We got EJ, McCoy and Sammy... Two out of three are legitimate threats on game day, they are just banged up this year. I'm not too mad about that haul. I think Whaley has put together some talent, but has failed miserably in selecting coaches. But really, in the modern NFL, without a QB, a team goes nowhere, and he has also screwed the pooch there. If we don't end the season with success at the QB position, I could see him being on the hot seat.
  12. Extra rest is one thing, being completely off is another thing. I don't like this.
  13. So then we're out of it for sure, already. Any 'must' situation, we tend to show up small for.
  14. Good job, Rex. Keep talking ****.
  15. Of course it's ticky tack, but it represents the issues this team has through and through. From the top, all the way down to the bottom, we are a bunch of boneheads.
  16. Sure, Pegula is just as responsible. He and Rex probably put together the staff, and if that staff can't do something simple like charge batteries, then yes, the bosses are very much responsible for their choices.
  17. It's Rex's staff. Captain of the ship and all that.
  18. Ah, yeah, Tyrod is way too new to make such statements, imo. He's certainly shown some flashes, and then other concerns, it'll be interesting to see how he does once he comes back and through the rest of the season, as teams gameplan for him, and as he grows (or not) into the position. In pre-season I was optimistic one of the two would work out really well. Now I'm luke warm on Tyrod, and my feelings about EJ are he's a backup, and most likely will be, unless something clicks before the end of his contract here. All the people saying he'll be out of the league are insane though.
  19. Nobody in their right mind would want to coach this team. Might as well ride the flames.
  20. Mathematically, no, the season's not over. But god damn, does it feel like it.
  21. Why wouldn't a fan support a player on the team they support? This idea that supporting EJ is somehow wrong is ridiculous. He's playing backup level currently. He's our backup. If there's another backup that's better, and available, and we want to swallow the cost of swapping out, I'm sure we'll do it. But until then, when our starter goes down, EJ's the next guy up. It's not like Cassel has shown anything promising this year.
  22. He really fell apart early in the game, and then Roman seemingly changed up the play calling to feature quick passes and a couple designed runs, and then things started to click for him. Take away just one of his turnovers, and we have a different game. Hell, as it was, we were in position to win in the end, but the defense choked. He certainly is a mixed bag, but that's why he's a backup.
  23. I'm starting to get annoyed by Roman's control issues. It impacts our hurry up offense as well.
  24. Every year we fall for "but this time it's different!"
