Good point. I am hoping we can surprise others and make the playoffs. I think the the foundation is there for us to win 8-10 games this year.

What the hell do those guys at ESPN and the NFL Network know?????????????????? They are dumb ass es. We here on the forum all know were on the right track to the playoffs. I say this year 9-7 or 10-6 with a playoff birth. I believe Chan Gailey is an "offensive Juggernaut" who will be unstoppable. This offense has a great chance to out perform the K gun days.

I have Doc. I have yet to see those experts who picked teams in the bottom tier (like 27th to 32) go to the super bowl or playoffs. The surprise teams have always come from the middle of the pack with few exceptions like Miami and Atlanta a couple of years ago. Note Miami hired Bill Parchells and Atlanta drafted a franchise QB. Doc thanks for the reply. I really really hoping you would respond to what they had to say and not attack me. But I realize I'm an easy target.

Like him or not, I think what he said is "spot on." In other words, we don't have a QB so we have to run the ball. That is why teams will load the box and squat the short routes. Thus, forcing us to beat them with intermediate and long passes. We don't have the OL like the Jets or Ravens who say were going to run the ball and you can't stop us. Hope Chan can work his magic...

Anyone see the NFL Network on Thursday about the Bills. We were predicted to be 29th out of 32. Jaime Dukes and Charles Davis pretty much echoed what I have been saying all along about the Bills. To paraphrase Dukes, Bills haven't properly addressed their QB and OL issues. Davis pointed out what the Bills brass is hoping for...Bottom line, it wasn't very positive. Then again what do they know? Guess all the experts are wrong? Then again what do I know? Not much by many in here.... Those who say the broadcast do you have any thought on what they said?

I am against trading Lynch. IMO, the guy can still play and a 4th or 5th round draft pick isn't enough.

I don't agree with all of your points but I will say thanks for an intelligent response back. First off, spelling has nothing to do with the performance of the players. That's just a "cheap shot" that I have to take. No problem there, I deserve it. Secondly, I couldn't care less if Gailey had success with Thigpen because that doesn't equate success with our QB's. It remains to be seen if he can do that. I am skeptical but hopeful he can. Thirdly, OTA's are just OTA's. When it's "game time" we will see how they perform. To imply a player is going to be successful because of OTA's is simple insulting. Nice try though. As I recall, Maybin had a good OTA last year too. Parrish as a WR sucks IMO. Gailey's track record is marginal at best in my opinion. Just ask the GT fans. He had and average of about 7.5 wins per season which doesn't cut it in big time NCCA schools. Marginal success with the Cowboys. I will give you that he has been successful as an offensive coordinator. Who cares if Cowher or Peoli think highly of him. You implication that we are going to run the West coast offense is probably correct. However, to make a giant leap saying it will work for us is hopeful at best. I have siad it time and time again. Weak OL, Weak WR, and Weak QB usually equals poor results. I am sorry I don't think Chan is a GOD like you do. That is my honest reply back.

I am changing my ways and thinking more positive. I am hoping and thinking there is a "very good" chance that the Bills are going to pick up Marcus McNeil. Positive thinking here.

I really could careless if I am liked or not. What really bothers me is how most of you don't respond to my concerns and issues regarding the Bills. I hear very few of you disagreeing with my points. Isn't this forum a place to discuss the Bills issues, strengths, weaknesses, opinions, possible solutions, the future, etc... I understand what your trying to say. However, I believe there are flaws to your statement. (1) There was great value with Michael Other. We blew it...Second, I believe it is the organizations responsible to create value via trade or free agent pick ups. They have yet to do this for several years.

Hi Mr. negative here. I can't and much more to the debate that has already said. Personally, I think hands down the guy is a legitimate number 1. I just have visions of him being on the Pats, Saints, Cowboys, Vikes, etc...I think his numbers would be through the roof.

I am by no means a great fan of Fitz. However, I think he gives us the best chance to win games. This is why I am hoping he is named the starter. I am just not a great fan of Trent. He is too tenative and doesn't appear to have that command presence. Fitz is inaccurate but he throws the ball down field and tries to "thread the needle." Seems to have more respect from his teammates. X factor is Brohm...X factor can Gailey can't production from a medicore QB... At least with Fitz, we know what we have. Granted not all that good but IMO gives us the best chance to win. With Edwards, I don't know what to expect besides check downs and playing scared. Upside - he is young and you never know he could turn out to be a productive good QB. With Fitz, he is not the future and will never really amount to anything but a good backup. So Bills fans pick your poison.

I guess we can debate how could he was or wasn't all day long. I think he was above average but not among one of the elites. What I can say with reasonable certainty is the Bills are going to miss him. Maybin better step it up.

Don't like our LT( Meridith or Bell) and RT (Green). I think our center Hartgardner is average. I really like Levitre and a healthy Woods. (3) I am not happy with our WR roster. LEE EVANS IS MY FAVORITE BILL and I think he is a stud. After that, I don't see much. Johnson unproven, Easley raw, Parrish I don't like, and Hardy appears lost having difficulty separating and learning routes (not to mention coming off a serious injury). That's being an arm chair fan. I remember when DICK Jauron was hired and I liked the hire. I liked his defensive mindset and his ability to communicate with his players. I liked the direction Levy was taking...I was the one oozing with enthusiasm. Boy was I ever wrong........ Could we all be wrong with Gailey/NIX?
