Lynch excited to see how good jets will be
mpl6876 replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am one fan who is hoping Lynch can keep his act together and just play football. I think a focused Lynch is a great asset to our team. Question is can he stay out of trouble and just play football? -
How is this for entertainment. I am not here to entertain anyone you dumb as s!!!!!! I am here to post my opinions and listen to others. In fact, I have learned a vast amount of knowledge from many of the posters here. You don't happen to be one of them.

Very good question. I suppose time will tell if the Bills stay in Buffalo. I know I will be crushed if they leave and I live in San Diego. I can't see myself cheering for another team....Hope they never move but I suspect Ralph's daughter will look to sell the team. I know the LA area is dying for another team. The NFL is so money hungry that I believe they would love to have another big market team on their menu. IMO, there is no more loyalty in sports. It is all money driven from players to owners and everyone in between. The fans are the ones who suffer. I remember the good old days of following your teams and favorite players...

Doc, I don't want to beat a dead horse . I know many are getting sick and tired of my rants. To keep it simple, I just don't think we have the players to win a lot of games. Hope I am wrong and your right. I think ALbany's post makes sense.

DOC, Good response to Albany's post. I don't agree with you but nevertheless, I thought it was a forthright honest reply. I hope your right.

I am not on any "high horse.' I just merely pointed out how misinformed and silly he sounded. My opinion is soley my opinion based on "reasonable" facts and observations. I have taken into account the changes and lack of changes the Bills have made. Perhaps, we will progress not regress. I will refer you to ALBANY's previous post. He pretty much says it in a nutshell. Wish I could take credit for his post but I can't

Albany, I have to say without a doubt that is the best post I have read. I agree with every single issue, comment, and statement you made. Your tone and manner was proper, professional, and appropriate. I will take notes and try to emulate your tone. Unfortunately, I am not so politically correct with my statements and I know this rubs people the wrong way. I enjoyed reading your post and look forward to reading more. It is nice to hear a refreshing and realistic viewpoint. Very objective post. Tired of listening to people believing the Bill's Front Office lies and their own lies too.

Back to the original point of the thread. Sorry, I got side tracked by some uneducated and arrogant fan. Likes: Special Teams - I like having Bruce D back. Moorman one of the best, Lindell is solid, and we have a slew of excellent return guys. Should be a strong point of our team. Secondary - very good to excellent. Very deep and talented. Dick J did at least one thing good. Hope JB can keep getting int's like last year. Running backs - Three headed monster very excited to see how all three can contribute and be content. Lynch a BIG question mark. Coaching - I am excited to see how successful Gailey can be with his limited offensive tools. Glad to see Dick go, it was a long time coming. It will be a sight to see a coach showing some emotion on the sidelines.

I am not whinning about the line. I just pointing out how stupid you are for saying the line is better than last years....I suppose you are going to say our QBs are better than last years, the DL is better than years, ETC Its like saying that piece of shi t doesn't smell as bad as my last piece of shi t.... Think before you post and attack. You are not as smart as you think! I am done wasting my time on a dumb uneducated football anti troll like you. Do me a favor and block me and don't even bother responding back.

My point exactly that's why we should have gotten Jason Campbell or even drafted Clausen. But, I don't want to beat a dead horse....
-
I have been waiting for your reply and that's the best you can do? What a sad response from a uneducated Bills fans who is satisfied with a better than last years offensive line...
-
Well Rob I can tell your OK with an adequate line and I think your viewpoint is the best case assessment. Best case scenarios usually don't happen. You said it yourself "dummy" "the OL will not be good." Who cares if it's better than last year. Think before you speak. You sound really silly. I will help you "see the light." You make little sense and your looking like a fool.....
-
Bandit your right he shouldn't have told people to get off the board. However, I do agree with the point of checking into the mental hospital. LOL
-
Hey K Gun, to note I am glad I can give you a few laughs. Remember, "he who laughs last laughs the LOUDEST"...So you keep chuckling because I suspect my laugh will be the loudest...
-
Do you really think we are adequate at RT? Do you really think Hartgardner is good? I think we are very weak at RT and just OK at center? I really like Wood and Levitre. Rob, however you spin it this OL is a weakness of this team. I don't think many would agrue that its not. Your argument is its not as bad as you think....I am not ok with that.

To Rob's House, I guess everyone here is supposed to be happy go lucky and share your optimistic viewpoints on the Bills. Otherwise, you feel compelled to be sarcastic and attack them. Well, let me tell you many fans here don't agree with your viewpoints and opinions. I happen to be one of them. Johnny was a bit harsh with his comments but his underlining theme was "spot on." Have you optimistic fans ever thought that some fans are sick and tired of you pumping up this team year after year? (with the same crappy results) It cuts both ways... What you guys are saying now is not new! I was saying the same stuff when the other regimes can marching in...I will always cheer for my team and support my team but that doesn't mean I cannot negatively comment on my teams progress or lack of progress. I believe a fan has a right to express their viewpoints regardless of what spectrum they fall into. This board is here for everyone to express their opinions. My favorite line in the movie A Few Good Men "You can't handle the truth".....

Pilsner, that was quite a confrontational post. I am not here to piss on your wheaties. However, I do feel compelled to respond in a professional manner to your post . The end of your post you talked about building a winning franchise/team. IMO, two critical elements of a wining team is their offensive line and QB. IMO, the Bills have failed to address this situation. I do not think our team can win against the top tier teams until this situation gets addressed and resolved. Weak OL + Weak QB = Mediocrity

Thanks for the response. I am in San Diego and believe it or not we do have some Bills fans here. I want to win lots and lots of super bowls too. Right now, I would be happy with one and take it from there. Still have nightmares about "wide right." That was the super bowl we should have won. Hands down we were the better team. The two cowboy losses I can live with because that team was really good. The Washington loss kinda hurts too. There OL was one the best I can remember. -

I agree with you that Campbell isn't the QB to take us all the way. My point is/was that he could help us win now and make us more competitive. Heck, when is the last time our QB have thrown for over 300 plus yards? He did it against the Saints last year. He looked like a monster...No Bills QB has looked that good in years; even TE when he was on the win streak. One last point, where is our QB of the future? Who is it? Lots of speculation and unanswered questions...At least with Campbell, you know you have a "decent QB with starting experience, toughness, ability to play in the elements, and has a big arm who can throw the ball downfield to Lee. That all equals more wins to me; rather than having TE, Fitz, Brohm, Levi, or the water boy at QB........ -
We passed on Campbell, Clausen, Tebow, and McCoy. No way this guy even belongs in the NFL...This guy we take over for JP's spot in Las Vegas.

Biscuit I think your right. However, nobody really knows if next years draft is going to produce a franchise QB for the Bills. I think the front office has pretty much told us that they don't plan on winning this season because they haven't adequately addressed the QB and OL positions. I am not ok with this kinda thinking. Look at what Washington has done. Get there QB, winning super bowl coach, very good GM, two offensive linemen, etc..Not sure if they are going to get results but at least they are trying to win right now! We as fans of the Bills have to settle for "lets wait and see a few years down the road." That is crap and Ralph has alot to do with it... -
McCargo sucks end of story. We keep hoping and he keeps disappointing...I hope we finally get rid of him.
-
Troy Smith? Boy are we desperate for a QB or what? The guy sucked as a passer even at Ohio State and now you want him? You have to be kidding...

Without a doubt, Campbell was the QB we should have picked up. Instant upgrade! I think Gailey has the coaches ego and thinks he can be the one to make Trent Edwards or Brohm a productive QB. Lets hope he is right? Just don't know why the brass didn't get Campbell. It wouldn't have cost us much? Bad move IMO.
