  1. Incorect, Mularkey put his fear of losing his job and some whining vetrans ahead of the future of this organization. Losman may be the guy, may not, but as of now we simply do not know. Another wasted season, a miserable record, and we go into next year in exactly the same way we went into this one, not knowing if our #1 pick will can play at this level sometime and knowing that we have no real alternative in his back ups. By the way, Eli has showed marginal improvement and has regressed as this year went on, Breez was a total waste till the Rivers pick lit a fire under him and Palmer has shown his lack of polish over the last 3 weeks. Losman has shown moments of brilliance and moments of sheer stupidity, as most rookies do. The point is, this staff has put their own selfish concerns over the good of the organization and for that, they must go.
  2. John Elway has a career rating of 79.9, I think I may take him over Holcomb. Elway was 148-86 Holcomb is 4-3, passer rating is highly overrated.
  3. There's a world of difference between recognizing formations and tendencies and evaluating performance, technique and ability.
  4. Lets see, two guys who want their share of catches (translate incentives) and defensive players who know nada about offense, let alone QB play. As someone already pointed out, you simply cannot have the inmates running the asylum. Player are paid to play, not judge ability or performance. In today's highly specialized game they must concentrate on their own position, there is no time for judging others.
  5. There is no right and no wrong on an opinion, hearsay, hypothesis, inuendo article. Especially from a television sportscaster who's sole goal in life is to get more people to watch his segment.
  6. is the first player in NFL history to return a kick off and an interception for a TD in a game?
  7. At least we stuck with it and ended up pretty balanced 25-31. The 25 is the important number not the 67.
  8. I noticed that too, seems as though Nate isn't interested anymore. And some team will still probably offer him goofy money.
  9. Yeah a spaghetti arm whose ball takes an hour to get there and who throws a bad INT to kill and onside kick recovery and takes a sack with seconds to play to get out of possible FG position is the second coming.
  10. 1st ammendment rights are not as cut and dry as some think. It is a pretty complicated and wide ranging issue and is certainly about more that "laws" as I found out here: http://www.aclu.org/freespeech/relatedinfo...s_releases.html Love 'em or hate 'em, the ACLU is at the vanguard. There are some pretty interesting cases cited.
  11. Glad to see you can find a piece of data without help
  12. I have done the research, I charted the games for the last 3 seasons, the stat is there, try not being so rude to others and take some initiative and find the info yourself if you don't beleive t.
  13. Amen. There is more to it than the charts especially for this team.
  14. Less than 3% of games are decided by 2 or less points, look it up.
  15. What wind, what sales. We are out of contention, we are playing badly and incessently sending the team messages that the coach has no confidence in them and that quitting is acceptable. Going and missing makes no difference except in that in may send your team the message that we won't quit and will try anything to win. Not going here, as in the Atlanta game in a losers decision.
  16. Just another example of French Mike running up the white flag and sending his team losing messages.
  17. No, you are absolutely right, many posters on this board hve bought the NFL coaching fraternity ultra conservative, never leave points on the field philosophy which, if you bother to look at it statistically, is total BS.
  18. There is absolutely no way the spot will change when the guy lands ball first, its a no brainer, so you are reduced to hoping the refs screw up, which I wouldn't put past this crew, but you gotta be kidding, that challenge quailifies for and people do stupid things commercial!
  19. Challenging a 8" spot after the placement had been measured just before raises stupidity to a new high....unbelievable
  20. Amen, the organization is the problem in NO not the coach, always has been from day one. A guy who is proud and honored to be a part of an organization unlike the two morons running the show now, would be a refreshing asset.
