  1. I think we all know where the executions should begin on this team
  2. More importantly, ask him if he has any clue what a game plan that expoits the other guys weakness is?
  3. Does anyone think it is not deserved? The coaching decisions last and this week have been a joke, let alone the lack of a game plan that sets up plays that can succeed rather than the freakin script.
  4. One would not even know where to begin after last weeks and todays performance
  5. Mularkey deserves whatever he gets (hopefully run out of town taking Gray with him). That was one of the worst displays of "coaching" I have seen in Buffalo since the days of Hank Bullough.
  6. Sure, let the inmates run the asylum. Why not just get a coaching staff that knows what they are doing?
  7. The coaching staff regressed. They have no clue.
  8. Right, and Holcomb has been so successful where?
  9. Absloutely correct. The biggest bust I'm seeing this season in Mularkey as a head coach adn Gray as defensive coordinator.
  10. Plugging the middle and occupying blockers is Sam Adams job on this team, always was. Edwards and Big Pat virtually split time last season and Edwards had more tackles. Plus, face facts, Pat, great a player as he was is at the end of a great career. Minn has allowed 421 yards rushing, Buffalo 502. Minn has 6 sacks. Buffalo 7. There just isn't that significant of a drop off from losing Pat.
  11. Jonas Jennings SF O line 05 -7 sacks allowed, blocked for 206 Yds rushing Bills O line 05 - 7 sacks allowed, blocked for 339 yds rushing Pat Williams 05 11 tackles, 5 assists, 1 sack Ron Edwards 05 7 tackles, 2 assists Record SF 1-2 Minn 1-2 Buff 1-2 Just don't see the big drop off
  12. Oh, I understand, perhaps there is simply no ultimatley correct answer. I respect your opinion, and will stand by mine and the stats. After all, this is strictly opinion, mine is as correct as yours or anyone elses.
  13. More importantly on that play you could see Losman try to "steer" the ball rather than throw it.
  14. Exactly, there are so many permutations that it doesn't matter. Missing a PAT COULD put you down 4 rather than 3, it could also have no effet whatsoever if you score 40 or if the other guy beats you by 50. In the vast majority of games, a missed PAT etc. really has zero effect on the final outcome.
  15. 2004 and the first 3 games of 2005 - 6 games decided by a point, that 2%. Odds say it simply insignificant. We remember the 6 one pointers, especially if a missed PAT or whatever is involved, but forget the other 291 games where it wouldn't mean squat
  16. Boy, I'm amazed at the number of fans who have been won over by the myopic, neo-consevative views of NFL coaches and analysts. The argument that there are so many different scoring scenarios goes both ways. The whole point is that at that point, in that game it did not matter if the conversion was made or not. We all remember the games where a missed PAT or safety or missed attempt at 2 cost a game, but the fact is that in the vast majority of cases it just doesn't make any difference. Why not take a shot at changing the dynmamics of the game. This crap about not trying early in a game is typical NFL coach don't take chances, don't risk my job overthink. There really is no right or wrong answer, each instance is unique and yesterday, in that game, the answer should have been try.
  17. The score after our TD was 14-12, miss, its still 14-12, still a single score (FG nonethelsss) game, make it and its tied, no difference being down by 1 or down by 2 at that point. Absolutely no reason why not to go at that point, you can't anticipate what may happen later. I would rather go for it when I didn't need it that when I did and they know it.
  18. bs, made no difference at that point, you can't base the decision at the time on what happened later.
  19. Popular thing seems to be to place the blame for the Bill's miserable performance the last two games on JP, the O line, the defense and/or all of the above. It seems to me that in the Bucs game, our head coach was completely out coached. Yesterday, Deangelo Hall goes down for most of the second quarter, leaving the Falcons with a 2nd and 3rd stinger at CB, one of which was dinged for a few plays leaving a back up saftey at corner. As I recall, we went to 4 wideouts 4 or 5 times during that timeframe. Yeah, JP was 10 for 23, but the 23 is as big a problem, if not bigger that the 10 in yesterdays situation. Additonally, why we didn't go for 2 after the 1st score is beyond me. Usually not a big fan of it, but at that point yesterday, it simply didn't make any difference so why not try. And why the staff called for a sneak on 4th and over a yard when you have a guy averaging 5.2 per carry on the day is astounding. Point is, you havev to be concerned about the coaching decisions the last two games. Besides the mistake, keeping JP on such a short leash is only going to impede his progress.
  20. With Mcgahee's lackluster performance against Tampa and the bad press he is getting for it, you'd think he would be looking to at least defend himself in the media. Has he joined the "I don't talk to reporters (unless I run for over 100 and score)" club. I would be interested in what he has to say, especially since even his coach slammed him.
  21. Don't ya just love it. Its PRESEASON. The Bill's line ran nothing but straight ahead blocking, not a stunt, not a gimmick, nothing. There was not a single planned run by JP. No game planning. To make a judgment on the line based on preseason is ridiculous.
  22. Idiot! Help for offensive lines doesn't come in the draft unless you have one of the top 10 picks. Anyone with half a brain will tel you that O line is the most difficult position to develop college players into and second rounders and beyond seldome contribute for 2 to 3 years.
  23. Yes I am insane and prone to exagerate, but that doesn't change the fact that later round impact is a year or two down the line. Do you tnink that Brady would have seen the light of day that year if Bledsoe hadn't ben hurt puching the "impact out eeven further.
  24. Brady didn't providse any impact until 3 years after he was drafted.
  25. And exactly how many teams have landed "impact" players on day 2? Impact players come on day 1, day 2 is for special teams, backup and potenital for the futrure.
