  1. im with most of this. dont care about canty much and this a TE could be brought in instead. most of the rest id be ecstatic.im not as high on EJ as you tho kelsay, mcgee, brad smith off the top of my head
  2. id rather judge these guys on the games they played rather than them throwing into some net. last i checked games were not played on a obstacle course.
  3. alfred morris, blair walsh, alfonso denard. but thats hindsight since you asked
  4. i like dion jordan too but hes just not the type of player nix drafts. hes getting hurt quite a bit and is lways in and out of games. a little light too. not to mention he didnt play in the south and isnt a senior. for those reasons i fear ej manuel and nix liking him. big, physical guy who was a senior and smart and won a lot in the south. ej was maddening to watch. he looks good for a short stretch then terrible for a longer stretch. he looks more like a project but if he can pan out he could be really god. but it always looked like he was a second late or 2 in his reads
  5. exactly. the bills have more than enough money to resign byrd and levier. there is also some players that i could see being released that have a good amount against the cap. brad smith/kelsay/lindell. and the bills still have 20mil in cap space and cap numbers are not the same as the money spent so they should be fine to resign both
  6. honey badger will be a nickel corner. hes short and not very fast.aaron williams at FS is a terrible idea. he is more suited to be a SS because of his hands of stone. his game also does not translate to FS.
  7. not even close. gabbert only threw 5 yard comeback routes and check downs and never had the arm or talent glennon has. im not saying glennon is a superstar im saying gabbert never had the ability or the pro style offense that glennon had.
  8. finally! someone who remembers that he wasnt a top tier prospect. he had a cool name and dumb hair and people bought in to his hype. there was plenty of talk about him being a midlevel draft pick. not a first rounder. he was small undersized and slower than most DBs.
  9. off subject a bit but i remember me and my friends use to play segadreamcast nfl2k2 and everyone would fight to be the raiders cause they were unstoppable and wheatley couldnt be tackled on first attempt it was on some techmo bowl walter payton BS. idk if hes a good coach but he was damn good in a video game lol
  10. i wouldnt be shocked to see the bills take jarvis jones at 8 if hes there. hed probably be BPA at that pick and would give pettine a LB to rush and make the bills front 7 a really good pass rushing unit. we will get mark anderson back next year too so that should be another upgrade too
  11. just the kinda guy buddy nix loves to draft.... undersized speed guys with a TON of off field troubles... totally matches the bills/nix style.....
  12. bower wrecked his knee and then didnt have the surgery and was trying to shawn merriman the situation until it was already too late.
  13. trading back takes another team wanting to move up too.
  14. IMO levitre/byrd are first priority. after that i read some place that if they gave both of them market value estimated contracts we would have around 10 mil left in the cap space to handle things. thats without anything else happening like if fitz is moved, brad smith and those types. id like to see a WR added doesnt need to be a big name but a stop gap. but yah spencer would be nice if its affordable. and id guess that would push us close to the cap.
  15. byrd could be a star in pettines style of D where the FS is allowed to roam and ballhawk. really excited for that look
  16. i like wilson the best as well and really think he will rise the boards with off season interviews/workout. hopefully AZ doesnt snag him ahead of us
  17. with pettine i think jarvis jones would be a good match for his style. we should also have a healthy mark anderson for next year too.
  18. if the bills can get geno smith at 8 and they pass id be pretty bummed
  19. hopefully we get levitre and byrd under contract. if we did do that im not sure how much money the bills would have left to spend in FA
  20. klien is tebow with a weaker arm but shorter delivery. its still early in the process. for what its worth i think we will take tyler wilson. he will probably have a pretty good draft process and end up being a top ten pick.
  21. i dont see brain kelly being nearly as innovative or forward thinking as chip kelly is. but id rather have BK than ken whiz any day
  22. if chip kelly doesnt happen i would be happy with lovie smith as HC and hue jackson or pat shurmur at OC. ken whiz would really deflate me on this team. he is neither progressive or forward thinking
