  1. Huge Tebow fan. Hate the idea of him on the Bills.
  2. Adam Schefter Raiders plan to release TE Kevin Boss, who last summer signed a four-year, $16 million deal, including $6 million guaranteed. they keep coming Adam Schefter Cardinals are expected to release OT Levi Brown, whom Arizona selected with the fifth pick in the 2007 draft ahead of RB Adrian Peterson.
  3. Good point but they may not send for league approval until it can actually be finalized.
  4. Is that true?
  5. Dude we have 32.4M of free space THIS YEAR? No excuses Bills...bring in some talent for God's sake!
  6. Punished for front loading contracts in uncapped year. Adam Schefter Cowboys lose $10 million in cap space, Redskins lose $36 million in space. Can split it over 2012 and 2013 any way they want. More at ESPN. Adam Schefter All that money goes to 28 other teams -- $1.6 million each -- except for Saints and Raiders, who don't get any but don't lose any. ...the Redskins now have no draft picks and no money either haha
  7. Well Carolla tweeted that there will be a nice rant about the behind the scenes workings that went into that episode on his podcast tomorrow. So listen on itunes or from adamcarolla.com if you don't usually.
  8. Absolute garbage for firing Carolla. I won't watch the show anymore, although I was only watching for him anyway. Aceman...you let me down you could have easily remained on the show if you had only brought Lou and Andretti back. This was an obvious case of Leo Burnett coming up with a way to have Andretti sell a car for them, Trump said it would happen, then the men were idiots and didn't realize the fix was in and basically Buick was buying Andretti through the show. The entire thing is fixed as is obvious the men did way better this was retribution.
  9. *spoilers for the most recent episode don't read if you haven't watched* Well it's pretty obvious at this point that the virus is airborne and they're all infected. Zombie bites just kill you, you turn into a zombie whether you die of that or not b/c I guess the airborne virus is in all their brains already? This must be what the scientist told Rick at the end of S1 (even though Rick seems to not act like he knows that...). So...I wonder what that means for a baby? That will likely be a topic of next season....a baby growing w/ the virus as it grows...
  10. Ya I agree with you there. All things aside (whether you like it or not) hallucinogens just go on and on...and on...too much for too long w/ most of them.
  11. Don't need to quit drinking? Try LSD Bills fan? Try LSD Got to find a way to make it through the day? Let your coworkers unknowingly try LSD
  12. Absolute garbage. I actually started to feel embarrassed for them while watching. There were a couple people in the place laughing that were obviously actively trying to like the movie. If you aren't willing to lie to yourself, let this one go unseen.
  13. I'm going out on a limb here and saying that WR is our most important thing. We do need a DE no doubt, but the D has to come a long way. The way we are competitive now is if we can march around the field and right now 1 injury to Stevie and we're done for the season plus we're weak in general since he has nobody on the other side. Do something well, the closest thing we are to doing well is passing the ball (and then running it from the spread as a result) so let's finalize that first. To me a real #2 is our biggest need. Then DE.
  14. Yea for real. Give up a 5th to have him as a back up. Problem is can't trust the fans in Buffalo to chill and let him ride the bench.
  15. Well they just got their cap open a bit they're probably in play for somebody. The real question is who?
  16. I would say yes, but not if he does any worse. Cam is far and away going to be the greatest QB moving forward anyway so it's moot. It's Cam's league we just haven't realized it yet.
  17. Relevant to the debate about if presidents can control gas prices we were having...I was watching Real Time "overtime" (while failing to fall asleep) and the final question was exactly that! Obviously it's not exactly gospel but Bob Lutz (Vice Chairman at General Motors Company) addressed it. He basically said absolutely not, only way they can effect it is to drive it up with taxes. Maher disagreed saying he thinks a big reason the price is high right now is because of the potential looming Iranian crisis and the rhetoric around it. Lutz basically responded saying there’s always going to be some marginal barrel somewhere in the world, add speculation, add expectation and that's it and that the promise that you could lower gas prices as president is about the most unfulfillable promise you could make while campaigning. One mans opinion anyway. (now to sleep for real). For the record, he is conservative.
  18. And there you have both crossed the line of civility and made and ass out of yourself. Thank you for the speculation on my girlfriends biological makeup and direction on how she and I should behave as well as the oversight of the fact that birth control is not merely contraceptive.
  19. This response is so incoherent given the context of the discussion and the text you quoted it hardly warrants a response. In any event there's a hypothetical in the last sentence you quoted. To give another hypothetical, podiatrists cutting medicare patients toe nails for exorbitant fees. I agree it is nice that certain local establishments take a stance on issues like this and voluntarily provide a discount for generic birth control to those who's health insurance does not cover birth control. That would be an even stronger argument if the female body was uniform across our species, but it's not and the reason there are a number of different approaches (both in pill form and otherwise) to birth control is because there needs to be to help individual women. You see...generic birth control (Tri-Sprintec is the one that you are probably referring to) doesn't cut it for all women. Of course you probably don't care (or maybe even don't believe that?) but then again your stance on the issue doesn't make me think you are a doctor. Not to sound snobby but "just go take this pill for $9" isn't something I would go telling women if I weren't a doctor. In any event, my girlfriend would rather not depend on private charity when it comes to taking care of her body. She would rather just have it included in her healthcare plan (along with a bunch of other things that are in there that I don't see you attacking) because as I've stated earlier, we both consider birth control to be healthcare.
  20. I'm not so sure the primary thrust of the "get off gas now" party (if you want to call it that...I wouldn't call them that but so be it) is environment. I was actually surprised to learn (not that this is really all that closely related) that if you live in an area w/ coal power you pollute more w/ an electric car than you with gasoline. Only nuclear and to a lesser extend natural gas areas reduce CO2 emissions through those cars use. I'm not sure what you are saying here in the emboldened portion.
  21. oil goes under the hood gas goes in the back hehe
  22. I don't understand what you are referring to here.
  23. Tom this is what the pill does. It does both.
  24. Haha he did there's no denying that. As for my stance on gas Rob, IDK what to tell ya dude. It's just the way I see.
