  1. There is no telling what will happen and why. All we have to do is look at the "wide-9" hysteria that surrounded the Schwartz hire and the fear that it would be Wanny part 2. People's perceptions are far more an artifact of collective sub-cosciousness than the alleged conscious knowledge of individuals.
  2. Come on man, don't start your Wednesday like this. Be positive.
  3. If Schwartz is smart, he'll continue to build equity by staying another year with this defense. It's easy money compared to these HC jobs that will be open.
  4. For better or worse, this past season's O-line picks will need time to develop. That's just how it goes. Physical and mental maturity play a big role in this, and it does take time.
  5. They should let EJ fly the plane too while their at it.
  6. It's only one draft. Whaley can be Jerry Reese this offseason after the trade. Extend our own, and get fitted for that ring.
  7. If the Bills had Eli Manning, they would be playing NE for the division title next week. Eli has been saddled with BS the past few years. The man can make magical throws. We have all seen it. Now he has a receiver that can make magical catches. Watkins needs a magical QB to truly show his magic. Who is Reed without Kelly. I would trade all of this years draft picks and 2016's first for that guy. This is Eli's first year with West Coast schemes and terminology. Same nonsense as here. Focus on extending the right FAs in the meantime and win a damn Super Bowl within 2 years! Eli has Brady's kryptonite when it is time to win a real game.
  8. When you are 8 and 6 with a shot at the playoffs with Tom Green as your QB, you really need to thank someone for something. Perhaps even a toast?
  9. The Packers thought that they could cheap shot the lowly Bills. Well, nowadays, there are consequences for that s***! Hopefully if anyone makes a flying elbow move at our QB's knee this time around, there will be a proper response. Yeah I am talking to you Wilfork!
  10. Marrone is no genius. I am sure that we can all agree on that. He does however have some thug in him. And I mean that as a complement.
  11. 10 and 6 is the goal, playoffs or not. We can't change history, but if the Bills are some how 10 and 6, that would be something to build upon without question. I believe in miracles.
  12. The challenge of resigning a guy like Hughes is that 3-4 teams looking for an OLB will also be in the market. Pettine is probably a big fan of his.
  13. What were the blocking schemes?
  14. You kind of said it all right there. There has been a serious attitude adjustment for this team and I love it. Marrone has avoided previous seasons of IR hell and yet no one speaks of it. This team is likely to end the season in relatively good health. Amen.
  15. I gotta say. Ruben Brown is pretty vague in his criticism. I sum up his in depth analysis as "Orton bad. Hacket needs to call plays that make Orton look good. Defenses apparently won't adjust to what he does well." What a dope. The book on defending Orton has already been written, and guess what, all defenses attempt to make QBs do what they aren't good at. Just too funny.
  16. It's about time the Bills acted like they belong in the NFL. Inflicting pain is an integral part of the game.
  17. They need to beat the Raiders first.
  18. It's amazing how just a little bit of additional physicality against the WRs could hit the mute button on a player like Ellen Degenerous. Good luck winning the division Green Bay.
  19. I miss the days when the Lions would play the Christians every Sunday. Now there was an audience.
  20. The man is a stud. Worth every damn penny and he is in his prime.
  21. I wonder if CJ will finally be able to pick up a blitzing defender. He invites a stacked box and blitzes when he's on the field. If they can some how get the ball downfield in the passing game while CJ is in the back field, he'll get more space in the run game. It's ironic. His poor blitz recognition and blocking skills allow defensive fronts that make it very difficult to find holes. His lack of vision exacerbates this issue. Learn to pass protect CJ, and everything else will fall into place. That is all.
  22. Love him or hate him, Marrone is focused on the win/loss column, and I agree with you that we should too. A winning season is a wonderful thing to have going into next year with cap space, another round of FA, the draft, and an existing group of young players that may yet emerge.
  23. Just win baby. I don't care how.
  24. So much for the Texans playoff run.
  25. Of course there is no love for Crossman.
