  1. Interesting. If those numbers are your evidence that the players share 0% culpability with the coaches then I say go with it. I think the entire unit leaves a lot to be desired and the salary cap reflects a significant under investment on the offensive side of the ball. I say it is both the coaches and players that are the problem, with QB being the weakest link. You think it's all on Hacket. I just can't follow the logic after actually watching this team play.
  2. Did you really mean that to say that the offensive players are not responsible for their bad performance?
  3. The play at QB is where this team is currently bottlenecked. It's the team's biggest limitation. All QBs regardless of scheme revert to the mean once one is established. After about 40 starts, you will tend to know what you have. It is almost impossible to wait that long in todays NFL if your QB struggles or is injured for any length of time. Whaley has his work cut out for him heading into the offseason.
  4. The QBs on this list could have been franchise QBs if the Bills had better OCs.
  5. That's on the entire offense, not just one guy.
  6. Chris Williams is a good run blocker, and he is fairly reliable on screens at getting to the next level. Pass protection is his problem.
  7. Marrone's given me something important so far. After a decade of mass IR disgrace by Thanksgiving, this team for 2 years has maintained extraordinary health when compared to seasons past. A lot of seasons. By the way. These QBs that Arians has used that everyone is calling garbage. Who has actually watched these guys play their complete games? If they suck, then why are they playing well? If they are playing well, why do you say they suck? Does Arians have an OC? If so,how come he gets no credit? Why don't you want him for HC then?
  8. It's sad that Orton is the team's best QB right now.
  9. No matter who coaches this team, the question remains. Who is the QB to lead a playoff run? If he is not currently on the team, then what difference will coaching make?
  10. He looks like a young man with all the talent in the world that is learning his business. So far so good.
  11. I agree. To be the man...you gotta beat the man. Nobody has won his spot yet.
  12. Fred is also coming off an injury.
  13. It's not a question of HCs. It's all about the QB. None of those guys stood a chance at winning it all with who they had behind center.
  14. Which shiny new HC will take Orton and Manuel to the next level in 2015? Same problem, different HC. Polishing terds won't bring the Lombardi to Buffalo.
  15. There is little logic in having Orton play QB badly at an even faster tempo. If you want to hang the defense out to dry like last year's unit then sure, why not? Since some fans hate how the team wins at times, they can perhaps enjoy how the team loses instead.
  16. Orton is the best QB on the roster. That is THE problem on this team. The entire offseason was about not bringing in competition for EJ for whatever reason. Thus, the Bills have Orton. I am a fan of Whaley's on all levels except for the part that the Bills have a wasteland at QB.
  17. I don't get it. Schwartz was going to ruin the Bills defense with his "wide-9" defense before September and now he should be the head coach. Yes, very rational chain of events.
  18. I still hold a grudge against the Bills for not taking him. KW and Ngata for all this time would have really helped the team as a whole. AJ Green could have been #3.
  19. Why do you hate Buffalo so much?
  20. I've always been more of an Eli fan. Eli wouldn't have been sulking in the first quarter of a Super Bowl under any circumstance.
  21. This game is up to Orton. This will have to be his best game of the year for the Bills to have a shot.
