  1. we should remember this thread if the Browns get there and win with Flacco. Then we can discuss whether he is an elite QB. Jim Plunkett won two SBs and has not entered the HOF. It may be football sacrilege to say it but I think Shula is a failure for not winning with Marino. I think he was still calling the personnel shots in Miami when Jimmy Johnson became coach.
  2. You are already in the playoffs so your choices are: Play your best players for a shot at the AFCE banner, get a home playoff game but lose your starting QB, RB and WR Play your second stringers and lose the division but give your best players a week's rest for a road playoff game You have a chance to go farther in the playoffs resting your starters against the Bills. I'd go option 2 unless you're sure winning the division gives you an easier opponent in your first playoff game.
  3. I believe the term is Buffalo Lightning
  4. Jimmy Kimmel's totally normal too https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/news/jimmy-kimmel-revealed-buyer-1-9-million-bea-050000255.html
  5. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/nfl/article-12920767/Jimmy-Kimmel-calls-Aaron-Rodgers-hole-soft-brained-wacko-furious-response-NFL-stars-suggestion-TV-host-named-one-Jeffrey-Epsteins-associates.html
  6. Tua keeps winning games and is a high character leader. I think the closest comparison is Baker Mayfield.
  7. I don't watch Kimmel and don't necessarily agree with his takes but for Rodgers to say that he will be outed on Epstein's black book is out of the field of play
  8. There I said it. This war of words with Jimmy Kimmel is taking on bizarre proportions.
  9. I enjoyed my time with my immediate family but am exhausted as well
  10. I was impressed by the way he handled the victory formation vs NE
  11. I can't believe he languished all year when he could have been packaged for a QB
  12. I went to a game in Pittsburgh the year after the Steelers beat the Seahawks in the SB. They made a dedication to Chuck Noll at half time. He got a standing ovation if I recall. Noll coached for a long time after the glory years until 1991 and got Pittsburgh into the post season with Mark Malone, Walter Abercrombie, and Frank Pollard. Noll's last playoff season was 1989.
  13. Tomlin is rolling into Don Shula territory. I can't believe he's been in Pittsburgh 17 years. Am I that old?!
  14. I will never understand why this team lets the likes of the Patriots and Chargers hang around after shellacking the Cowboys, Dolphins and Chiefs but I'm learning to live with it
  15. but if I'm coach Pinky and the Brain, I care more about going into the playoffs with my starters healthy than I do about a home game on wildcard weekend. If I can get Mostert, Chubb and Tua back on two weeks rest, I care more about that than getting a home game on wildcard weekend.
  16. so the most the Dolphins can hope for is the division title and a sole home game on wild card weekend, correct?
  17. totally definitely Billsy
  18. they have to make Lamar MVP
  19. At the end of the day, the Dolphins have nothing to play for this week but pride. We need this game to get in. I think they rest their banged up starters against us.
  20. This is my Bills home of choice since the shutdown of the BBMB. A big thanks to all the mods who put up with my nonsense. This is THE place on the internet to be Bills fan and I absolutely love being on this board interacting with the best fans in Pro sports. Health and Prosperity to all of you in 2024 and yes a SB win for our beloved WNY Bills would be heavenly as well.
  21. Titans are effectively tanking IMO
  22. all this musical QBs by the Vikes felt like an audition for a wider audience but today it looked like tanking
  23. Left the game in the 3rd quarter
