Watkins expected to play vs NE this week.
bigdogtim replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If they can build on what they did last week, it will certainly make it look like ousting Roman was the right move. Hopefully we see OVER THE MIDDLE this week against this aggressive Pats**** defense. Then some sustained drives can help our defense be as good as it was last week. -
Is Tyrod the most Athletic QB ever?
bigdogtim replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Billy Joe Hobert would certainly be in this discussion but alas didn't open his playbook. -
D'Rick was a specimen too.

Vic Carucci describes the media's crush on Rex
bigdogtim replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is sort of copying Trump. The media can't help but cover him. It brings attention to the Bills which so long as it doesn't overly embarrass the team, adds value to pegula's investment. -
Dennis Thurman, the invisible DC

Who cares who is in charge as long as the defense is good and we win. Together they have the skills. What matters is how effectively they communicate with the players. -
The Nattering Nabobs of Negativity
bigdogtim replied to racecitybills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We are fans and like to think that what we feel matters. It does, but only to the extent that it keeps us buying tickets. Feel misled all you want about Shaq Lawson's health. It still really makes no difference to the Bills management, nor should it. I think it was Marv who said when you start listening to the fans you will find yourself sitting with them. -
SI.com: Is Tyrod Taylor a One-Year Wonder?
bigdogtim replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There were 3 guys splitting reps last preseason. It stands to reason that Tyrod would be on the learn while you earn plan last year to a great degree. Going into 2016 as the preordained starter, it is reasonable to expect more out of him. One thing he was not is Meh. He did not always do what we would have hoped for, but most of the time the stuff he did do was more exciting than what we have seen in a long long time. -
Not everyone at ESPN is pessimistic about the Bills...
bigdogtim replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Joyner does make us hopeful. We can talk about 2014 and 2015 all we want, but what matters most is what is going to happen in 2016. Nobody knows for sure, but it is fun to speculate. Unfortunately, speculation is an opinion and opinions are like buttholes - everyone has one. I don't know if the D will be better in 2016 or not, but you can bet I will be sitting there at 1:00 every Sunday at 1 with my big jug of Kool-Aid. To loosely paraphrase Van Miller, where else would you rather be? Go Bills!!! -
What bothers me the most at this point is Brady's*** attitude. I get the competitive spirit. What offends me is the smugness that he seems to display by acting indignant over something he did that is obviously wrong. It has become all about getting caught and not doing something or things to gain an unfair competitive advantage and then seeking to cover it up. His union agreed to work rules in exchange for consideration. Now he doesn't like it so wants to unilaterally change it. For the sake of argument, let's agree that Goodell's ruling IS unfair. That doesn't matter as the process was the one agreed to by Brady*** through his participation in the union. On top of that, football is a TEAM sport, and not a ME sport. Brady has the chance to display character but instead has chosen to display selfishness. That is sad but unfortunately becoming the norm today. Our young, impressionable athletes who need a good role model get this instead. Way to man-up Tommyboy***.

We used to send all of our unwanted players to San Diego. Is this the new San Diego? Seems kind of odd, but either those teams are way worse than us, or our second tier players are way better than we think.

Cost difference of cutting/trading a QB - only 1.35m

ThAt would be awesome. Especially if he outlasts the afternoon gr55 clowns. Karma is funny that way. -
Go back to your mom's basement Mr Schopp

Agreed. It's all about the touchdowns. Taylor is exciting and I can root for him but I can see the benefits of Manuel just as easily. The benefit to Manuel is the gas pains it will give the afternoon wgr guys!

Brady 4 game suspension upheld; Will go to court
bigdogtim replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It would seem patently unfair on the part of the Union to concede in negotiations only to litigate subsequently. Even kids on the playground recognize the inappropriateness of this tactic. I don't care if is is tom Brady or the 53rd guy on the Jacksonville roster, a deal is a deal. All of what then nlfpa has done since the beginning, to me, is in bad faith.
