  1. Tyrod's major issue is decision making at key points in the game. How many deep passes is he going to throw on 3rd and 3? Get the first down and keep the drive alive! He will be better will this year's experience. I have been frustrated by him at times but I hope he gets the chance to build on this year. This team needs some continuity.
  2. I'm OK with it now. I see a lot of linemen drafted with the picks we have left this year. Hopefully the scouts can come up with some late round gems!
  3. Why give up draft picks when he is no better than FAs out there? We could use those picks to get linemen to develop. I am not liking this move much. Hopefully, the picks are below round 4.
  4. I grew up as an OJ fan. At one time, he lived at the end of my street. That being said, he has become an embarrassment as a human being after his playing days. I wince at the mention of his name because I remember running around pretending to be OJ as a kid and now wouldn't want to be associated with him at all. I voted "No" because of his on-field accomplishments but would not have an issue if his name was taken down quietly or not included in a future stadium.
  5. As a Gator fan, I can tell you that Spikes has always been slow in terms of straight line speed. However, he is good between the tackles because he has great instincts. He has always looked painfully slow when put into a chase situation.
  6. Not the jersey but as close as I could find! http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/400380562983?lpid=82 Really rooting for Jimbo!! HERE YOU GO!! http://www.throwbackgamejerseys.com/12-jim-kelly-houston-gamblers-usfl-qb-white-throwback-jers12.html http://www.throwbackgamejerseys.com/12-jim-kelly-houston-gamblers-usfl-qb-black-throwback-jers12.html
  7. Apologize to a good player for doing his job well??? No. The Bills should pay him what he's worth but only if it leaves room for them to continue to bring in the necessary talent at the other positions. Good game Jairus!!
  8. First I LOL and then I was ROFL and when I looked down I had LMAO!
  9. I am a diehard Bills fan!! I'm never gonna give up on this team!! I am scratching my head about this move given the other candidates out there. I wanted a defensive coach so I'll wait for the DC hire to determine how I feel about this move. But hiring a guy that boasts an 8-5 record as evidence he turned a college program around does not inspire me. Losing 5 games in college is not great though the team did finish the season strong with some quality wins. He has NFL experience under Sean Payton so we'll see. Just not inspired...YET.
  10. The Bills have 6 WRs on their roster at or over 6'2"! Martin is 6'4, Nelson is 6'5" Why is this a need??
  11. Couldn't find this for this season but I would welcome several of these players to the Bills!! Welker, Marshall, Austin, Nelson, Smith (CAR) It's more about the impact you make when you do catch the ball!! Wide Receivers, Bottom 15 Drop Percentage, 2010 Rank Player Team Receptions Drops Catchable Drop % 41 Steve Smith NYG 48 6 54 11.11% 42 Santonio Holmes NYJ 61 8 69 11.59% 43 Jacoby Jones HST 51 7 58 12.07% 44 Michael Crabtree SF 55 8 63 12.70% 45 Wes Welker NE 93 14 107 13.08% 46 Brandon Marshall MIA 86 13 99 13.13% 47 Steve Johnson BUF 82 13 95 13.68% 48 Miles Austin DAL 69 11 80 13.75% 49 Jordy Nelson GB 66 11 77 14.29% 50 Steve Breaston ARZ 47 8 55 14.55% 51 Mike A. 12. Meachem is a good choice!! Tall and fast!! Limited role in N.O.
  13. It's time to look forward not backward! Bill Polian was good for the Bills before but he is not our present (yet)! Peyton Manning is not what this team needs. He is a couple years from retirement. We need to build around a young QB. It may be Fitz or it may not. What is obvious is that we need to improve the lines on both sides of the ball first. If we can protect our QB, he will be much more productive and accurate!
  14. Robert Meachem would be a more likely Saints target. A year younger than Colston and faster. Most important for Bills Management...he's cheaper!!
  15. No guarantee there but I was responding to the concerns about Lloyd's age.
  16. I don't think people undervalue draft picks. It's the difference between getting a potentially good player in the draft or getting a proven NFL performer. Look at our past WR draft picks round 1-4 (since 2000): Marcus Easley(rd4), James Hardy(2), Roscoe Parrish (2), Lee Evans (1), Sam Aiken (4), Josh Reed (2), Avion Black (4). I would take Brandon Lloyd over at least half of these players for the next three years!
  17. In honor of a good AFL man, Al Davis: JUST WIN BABY!!!
  18. WOW! A lot of talk about guys who should NOT come close to the wall. Cribbs was a good player but once you start putting "good" players on the wall, it diminishes the significance. If there is a debate over whether a player belongs on the wall, they probably don't belong there. JMHO
  19. He is Chan's type of QB!!! LOL Just say NOOOOOOOOOO!!!
  20. If you are only counting those on the Patriots roster, you are using the wrong analysis. The better analysis be how many of those players are still active in the NFL. When you have an established, successful team, rookies have a tough time getting on the field. They may have found NFL homes elsewhere.
  21. I went to school with his niece. That is a great family. Please pray for their peace and comfort.
