I really hope Maybin isn't another Vernon Gholston... When the Jets drafted him I thought he would be a major force in that defense for years.. He was a big time defensive end wiith tons of speed, maybe just a bit undersize for the position, but a huge upside comming from a big time college... He was so ineffective at end he was moved to linebacker in the 3-4 (sound familiar?)... Now I look at Maybin and think he might be the same non-factor that Gholston has been... I pray I am wrong!!!

A lot of these guys are on other teams... Don't make them out to be busts, some are starting and playing at a very high level...

A contract means nothing to NFL Owners, why should it mean anything to NFL Players?... We live in a world controled by the super rich.. Common people are used as nothing more than a way to make a profit... I have a hard time feeling sorry for anyone that makes a million dollars a year..

Bills used top picks on O-Linemen last year.. Second and third this year were Defensive Linemen.. sounds like we are building from the front of the bus also... Spiller was too much of a stud to pass up... Nobody will disagree we seriously need Offensive Tackles but like Buddy said, "Where was our run defense ranked the past 5 years?" If tomorrow night the Redskins can't move the ball on our defense, I for one will be a very happy man... We have dealt with crappy line play on both sides of the ball for far too long, I can wait until next year to draft a couple of Tackles..

Stupar seems to play great in preseason and then is nowhere to be found when the games count.. Maybe it was the previous administration or maybe he is a big game player when it doesn't count.. I guess we shall see...

I can't wait to see this defense play.. I just wish the preseason games were avaiable in my area..

I have to say, most of the coaches who were known as winners, were tough guys.. They were motivated with fear, players responded.. There are a few like Marv who did get production by being easy, but he never won the big one.. Every player to a man said he loved Dick Jauron but we had 5 years of average or below.. I really hope Chan can work some magic with this club and motivation is the key... Fear Factor!!!!

Recently I was looking at old Houston Gambler footage on Youtube.. Jim Kelly had an unbelievable arm.. His throws were effortless and they were on the money anywhere on the field.. So I disagree about Kelly not having the career he did without Andre Reed... When Andre left Buffalo he was the second leading reciever of all time, (catches) but Carter passed him a year or so later as did Tim brown and several others.. However the man does deserve to be in the Hall of Fame...!!!
