  1. Love: Kenneth Walker Jameson Williams Expect: Andrew Booth James Cook Settle: Zion Johnson Breece Hall
  2. Wasn't expecting this to turn into a pitbull debate thread, but it sure beats another Breece Hall thread.
  3. At least one titled "Can we talk about Ed Oliver?"
  4. Can this not turn into another Breece Hall thread, please?
  5. With the 64th pick, the Denver Broncos select Cam Taylor-Britt, CB, Nebraska. In the arms race that has become the AFC West, we are behooved to continue to add talent to our secondary. Pat Surtain and Justin Simmons are exceptional players, however veterans Kareem Jackson and Ronald Darby are upgradeable at this point in their careers. We expect Taylor-Britt to immediately compete for the outside corner spot opposite Surtain. We love his physicality and believe it will pay off against the high powered offenses we play multiple times a year. Safety was another consideration here, looking for someone to eventually take over for Jackson when he hits the proverbial "wall", and should be addressed with a later selection. I believe this concludes TSW mock draft 2.0! @Virgil
  6. At the very least, I'd think he'd be an upgrade over Hart as depth. Either way, I'm hoping Doyle takes a step forward this year.
  7. With the 42nd pick of the TSW 2022 2.0 mock draft, the Indianapolis Colts select Trey McBride, TE, Colorado State. This offseason we have lost Zach Pascal to FA, Jack Doyle to retirement, and have yet to bring back (if at all) the oft-injured veteran TY Hilton. That leaves a dearth of proven pass catching options outside of Michael Pittman. Enter Trey McBride. We believe he is the best TE prospect in the class who will contribute right away while having more room to grow and develop into one of the better TE1's in the league. TE2 Mo Alie-Cox was retained, but we are not planning on putting all our eggs in the "MAC blooms into a TE1" basket. It should also be mentioned that our new QB, Matt Ryan, loves to utilize the TE so there will be plenty of targets to go around. We believe this is a great fit that will pay immediate dividends for our offense. @CNYfan and the Atlanta Falcons are on the clock.
  8. This thread is incredibly hard to read. You can't just toss a player in a vacuum and ask would you draft him - yes or no. That's not how any of this works...at all.
  9. You mistakenly show the Giants with those picks further up in the OP. I believe that is what the other poster was referring to.
  10. I can take one or both if need be. Whatever works.
  11. I participated in 1.0 but will bow out this time around to let someone else have a go. Thanks as always, Virgil.
  12. You must not have read that other thread....it's a lock that Seattle takes Carson Strong at #9! /s
  13. I liked Moss coming out and was happy with drafting him. Last season was certainly disappointing, so at this point my expectations are just really low. I wouldn't be shocked by a bounce back season of some sort, but I'm not going to get my hopes up.
  14. I picked Shakir for the Bears earlier this round and am curious about your take on him. I always respect your opinion on prospects as you clearly do a lot of studying. Admittedly, I know little past the top prospects as I don't take the time to do much research of my own outside of these mocks. I was deciding between Shakir and Metchie when I made the pick so I'd like to know your opinion of them in comparison to each other. FWIW, I agree that I'd rather the Bills draft a WR in Round 1 or 2 as this grouping in Round 3 seems much less appealing.
  15. WIth the 71st pick of the TSW 2022 Mock Draft 1.0, the Chicago Bears select Khalil Shakir, WR, Boise State. Justin Fields needs help. We found some help up front on the line with our last pick, and are now happy to grab a weapon for the passing offense. Allen Robinson's departure in FA left Darnell Mooney as the only noteworthy wideout on the roster. While we believe Mooney is poised to take another step in year three, we find it imperative to provide Fields with more offensive talent. Shakir is expected to jump right in as our starting slot receiver, providing a high motor, toughness, and versatility. While not a crazy athlete, Shakir is a high character guy with ultra-competitiveness that our front office believes will be a boon for a young, rebuilding team. The Seattle Seahawks @Rock-A-Bye Beasley are on the clock
  16. Agreed. He would have been my pick if he was listed as an option. I don't consider myself either an Edmunds hater or truther, but I think drafting a replacement this year is a smart move and Andersen appears to be a perfect candidate.
  17. I feel you. I spend all day in front of a computer for work and when it's time for my first pick, I am on my way to a business lunch that was going to take hours. Luckily, I had time to send my pick to Virgil on mobile.
  18. With the 48th pick of the 2022 TSW Mock Draft 1.0, the Chicago Bears select Cole Strange, OG, Chattanooga. After missing out on Ryan "Rick" Bates, the Bears are happy to land an extremely athletic interior linemen with some positional flexibility. Strange has over 40 starts in his collegiate career, most coming at left guard, but has starts at left tackle and center as well. His RAS score is a phenomenal 9.95, which will excite new offensive line coach, Chris Morgan. Morgan was with the Atlanta Falcons when they selected Chris Lindstrom (9.85 RAS) and Kaleb McGary (9.83 RAS) in the first round of the 2019 draft. Under Morgan's tutelage, we are confident that Strange will quickly secure a starting spot on a needy offensive line here in Chicago. The New Orleans Saints @H2o are on the clock.
  19. Zach Moss may be a decent answer from the Bills' perspective, but I don't know that his value is going to move the needle much with another team. In this scenario, I could see Jameson Williams being the target.
  20. Was Zion Johnson picked? Or are we assuming OG is off the table because of Bates?
  21. Zion Johnson makes a lot of sense here IMO with the WR and CB options currently available.
  22. I'm in. Falcons, Bears, or Jaguars please.
