  1. By that standard, Rice, Reed, Harrison, Largent, Tim Brown, and actually everyone in the HOF is not a true #1. If he can get open and make plays, he's a no 1.
  2. Waste $5.2 M? Not a Belichick move.
  3. unless you can run the ball, I don't care who they have out wide.
  4. 2014 was not a good year for Whaley. Trading the future for a WR in a deeeeep WR draft. Trading for Williams. Trading for Brown. No real developmental option to EJ. I guarantee you Belichick doesn't piss away $5.2 M. It's like Whaley deals with players without any plan in building the team and stacking with proper depth.
  5. It's a TD. Your "proof" sucks.
  6. Bringing up stupid stuff like this fist bump destroys the credibility or more appropriate complaints, like: 1. Why isn't intentional grounding even discussed when Brady, Rogers, Manning, et al do the same thing Orton did in Miami? 2. Why are DBs on good teams allowed to hold on every play (did you see Browner last night?) and Gilmore called for everything? 3. Why do bad teams hold and good teams just "play physical"? The problem with officiating is real and is further proven by the NFL putting these shill refs in the booth to agree with most every call on the field. Like the fans can't possibly understand what a bad call looks like.
  7. EJ may develop into being a good back up, but he is clearly not THEE guy. All you have to do is ask him. He'd prolly dance around the answer instead of saying "you're GD right I am.
  8. Players make the coach (es). When Orton/Manuel were playing well, there were few complaints about the coach. If they get a real, bona fide, QB, the coaching is better, the Oline is better, the defense is better and this team is in playoffs. Marrone is as good as anything out there. Get me QB!!
  9. 4.7 yards per carry. Looks like many people are handling Poe. Plus, he just 1 guy.
  10. The Chiefs are giving up nearly 5 yards per carry and are bottom 5 in the league in YPC. So you run like crazy, right? They are also the ONLY team in the NFL NOT to give up a rushing TD. I think that changes this weekend. I have to believe the game plan is heavy run with short passing mixed in. Own the time of possession and make them play from behind. Regardless of Fred's ability to go, I think you go heavy Bryce Brown and hope he breaks one.
  11. I hate that a division game is being played in London. It shouldn't even be a Conference game.
  12. Uhhhh.....go to Watkins early and often. The Jets had 175 on the ground yesterday. 175! Fine. I'll give Charles all that. If Sammy goes 150 again, I think the Bills win.
  13. It must suck to be a Jets fan. Hey….we've been there, recently.
  14. I voted NO. I meant it and had very good reasons for voting as such. I was wrong. This guy is the best parts of Andre Reed and Eric Moulds rolled into one. He's clearly the best player on the team and worth the defensive back Cleveland is going to draft with the 20th pick in the 1st round. He's making Orton look pretty good and vice versa.
  15. All they do is what we do in Fantasy Football: Look at yesterday's results and compare them to today's schedule. There is very little insight and, as teams emerge, many surprises. The Bills have definitely elevated themselves from a bottom feeder to a 2nd tier team. They probably will not make the playoffs, but are capable of beating playoff teams.
  16. Middle Tennessee State. Average sized back with good burst. Goods hands. Some ST ability. Often exposes ball. Played with Dallas and had one of those preseason games where he raised some eyebrows. That's all I could find. Let's hope his number is rarely called.
  17. And this is the discussion when they WIN !? I'll be concerned about Hackett when the PLAYERS don't turn the ball over 3 to 4 times and they only put up 13 points. Until then, I don't see anything that overly concerns me from the OC.
  18. Players make the coach. Backwards it got you think I.
  19. They WILL sign someone for this week. They just saw 2 RBs go down and know it can happen
  20. Jerome Smith. Atlanta Falcons. 5-11, 220. Syracuse. Marrone recruited him and would know the kid.
  21. Matthew Tucker, 6'1"-220, TCU. On Philly's PS according to NFL.com. Looked good in pre season.
  22. I don't get that logic at all. Who cares how good we are? Or how good they are? If the Bills go a fortunate 10-6 with great timing against injured teams, I'm ok with that. God knows I've seen enough 6-10 with our guys injured. And who is this Robert Parrish mentioned above??? I didn't think Goodwin was that tall.
  23. I always wonder what the reason is for a post like this. Complaining in hindsight is weak and leads to boring and predictable conversation. Now if you tell me that you PREVIOUSLY posted what is proving to be the perfect draft for 2013, that's one thing. But to criticize this young and unproven (either way) crop of prospects 18 months after they were picked is just plain weak.
  24. Rally and justify….just like the rest of the board.
  25. Here we go….
