  1. Jay Cutler - Bears Cameron Wake - Dolphins Antonio Gates - Chargers I'm just saying !! SUPER BOWL !!!
  2. If Marrone would have seen the forest for the trees he would have kept Joe D , B Dehaven , P Metzelars, & a couple of others from the Gailey regime because there were a lot of good things that Gailey had going on . While i'm at it I'll rehash something that has been written about a bit here . They should have kept Fitz seeing as they had a contract they had signed & had to pay him regardless if they kept him or released him as they did . I don't know if it's ego or what but when a new coach comes in i don't see why they can't look at what they got & use the old adage "IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT" We had 2 or more facets of the team when Marrone took over that were ranked top ten & you look at a guy that was your buddy & his unit was like 30th in the league , you bring him in to replace a top ten coach then you talk about "we will do what ever it takes to make the team better" Can you imagine Coaching staff of Marrone - HC - coaches kept & added to make new staff Gailey - OC - Joe D - O line coach - Metzelars - TE coach - T Wheatley - RB coach Pettine or Schwartz - DC - Pepper J - D line coach - D Henderson - DB coach B Dehaven - ST coach I know this is a pipe dream but the coaching staff would be a lot more play off ready if some coaches could get over their ego & not fix the things that weren't broke !!
  3. Murph needs to look at the red zone percentage I think i read where the Bills are 28th in the league in red zone percentage or was that 3rd downs can't remember exactly but either one is not good so he is managing the game & is not a elite QB talent . Wake up Murph ….
  4. Joe D Is there O line coach too isn't he ?
  5. http://espn.go.com/blog/buffalo-bills/post/_/id/13307/quick-fix-bills-in-red-zone
  6. He's got a ways to go before i get on the wagon . He amy be up 2 games but i'm not like the Bills front office that gave Fitz his contract after just 5 games . It takes a lot more than 2 to jump on the wagon but i hope he does prove me & all the other bashers wrong !! Go Bills !!!
  7. But remember what Marrone said the beginning of last year ? Something to the effect that the O Lines doesn't need the same players all the time to have a cohesive group , or something along those lines . I can't remember the exact quote . When i heard him say that i thought this guy is bonkers the O line needs the same guys most all the time to know what each one is going to do & how they are going to do it , communication is key on the O line & if they don't play together much you can forget good protection for the QB !!
  8. If Ej can go back into his memory & play like this or if the O line can give him the time & he can perform like he did in this game we can win a lot of games with him at the helm . The only problem to this point i haven't seen this EJ play for the Bills but after seeing this i'm holding out hope that he shows up !! GO Bills !!!!
  9. That was pretty bad ass up until EJ crossed on the out side of the pile on . Could that be a omen ?? Let's hope not !!
  10. Sounds to me the conflict between Monos & Marrone could be about personnel . Seeing as Marrone wants to move Urbick , could have had something to do with moving Stevie, & more than likely had a bunch of input of the drafting of EJ (which looks to be shaky at best) Monos questions of his personnel choices could have more substance. So not only did he have a beef with Monos but because Monos was a Whaley hire he has a beef with both , & Brandon stepped in to quite down Homy Marrone (Syracuse alum) then all sides were against each other . Well thats a fine to do just before the season & great to know that the players heard all the bickering between them at practice ... Well at least they will have something in common with the Bills of the 90's "The Bickering Bills" I just hope they can get the rest of it right & Saint Marrone can gloat some more about him self I just hope it's better than .500 cause that really ain't much to brag about in the NFL !!
  11. You add all of this to what he did in his very first preseason to take the job away from the veteran QB they had (which wasn't that great) it tells the tape right from the get go on just what kind of QB Wilson was going to be . The same thing i think is happening this year in Oakland & possibly Jacksonville only time will tell but those 2 rookies are putting it out there for all to see & our second year guy that has two years in this offense can't score but 1 TD in the preseason . Red Flag ????
  12. If we look back on some NFL history what is one common mistake that is made when the "Experts" look at a in coming player & TRY to make a correct judgement on what kind of player they are going to be ? One of the biggest misconceptions is that a small guy isn't going to be good enough because of his size but if you look back at some players that were small in stature we can see that their size had nothing to do with their heart ... Zac Thomas - 5' 11" Sonny Jurgensen - 5' 11" London Fletcher - 5' 10" Doug Flutie - 5' 10" Kenneth Davis - 5' 10" Wes Welker - 5'9" Emmit Smith - 5' 9" Barry Sanders - 5' 9" What i'm getting at is i think the experts when it comes to making the biggest in figuring what a guy is going to be in the NFL is their height !! Here the biggest Bills mistake in recent history because of a players height & the EXPERTS opinion . http://insider.espn....und/3/year/2012 Pick # 6 & 12 And who ever did this should be ban from the Bills for ever !!
  13. Yah & seeing as it is a copy cat league & the Bills being in the same division as the Pats you would think that we would have learned something by now ! but i guess you have to pay attention to learn something ...
  14. I believe it's more Whaley than Marrone , just have & always will think it was a homer hire unless & i hope he does prove me terribly wrong in my judgement of him ... And to add i think the EJ pick was more Buddy & Marrone than Whaley . Just saying ...
  15. Makes to much sense ...
  16. Why sign 2 other kickers after wasting a draft pick on 1 last year only to cut him ?????? Letting Cohen go HUH ??? Those things don't spell it's all about winning !! And the Graham pick should have never happened in the first place with the players that were there at our pick another head scratcher ??
  17. If nothing else bring him in & stash him on the practice squad , he definitely has more to offer than any of the QB's we had . But that would make to much sense at the most important position on a NFL team & our past we don't make those kind of good decisions ...
  18. Okay we all know that when it comes to choosing QB's it seems as though the Bills have a hard time with that position , but now it is bleeding over into other areas besides the offense of the team . They HAD a guy that was making plays every time he stepped on the field through out training camp but decide to cut him that guy being Landon Cohen . But they go out & sign not 1 but 2 kickers using that roster spot on a maybe instead of keeping a very productive player for defensive depth that to me is confusing . I saw Morman this year at St. John Fisher & he was booming some kicks yet after BLOWING another draft pick on a college kicker last year that led the NCAA in scoring (i believe if i remember correctly) let him go then sign 2 others I know i'm not a "Football Expert" but this kind of decision making then add in the QB decisions like the T Jack trade (blown draft pick)t then to resign him just to cut him , the trade for Thad we can no longer ask why do we not get the respect we deserve because we are getting what we deserve !!! You sure don't see the Pats , Saints, Broncos, 49er's, or Sea Hawks making those kind of decisions do you ? Don't get me wrong i am a life long Bills fan & want to see them succeed as we all do but this kind of decision making has to quit before we can go any where . Pollian didn't do these kind of things ...
  19. 2 Years ??? It goes back way farther than that . You just have a short memory that's right i got you now . They say all the great ones have short memories good for you !! I just love a English major on a sports blog !!!!
  20. The Graham pick should have never happened ! Didn't see that one coming at all & wasn't that the year that R. Wilson was sitting there now there's some great minds at work if it was !!
  21. That's for sure especially with what was still sitting there at that pick that we passed on !! DUH !!
  22. If the Jets cut Boyd & we don't pick him up to store him on the practice squad this team will prove just how stu[id it really is when it comes to picking a QB !! The fans wonder why we can't get any respect --- just rewind the QB carousel & the different decisions made around that position & you will wonder no more . Hell i think they are still paying Fitz aren't they & he's been gone 2 years that was brilliant !!
  23. I don't know . I want to give EJ every possible chance to prove that he is our guy because he is a great guy . But every time he hits the field he really shows us nothing !! So i think as previous regimes have done in B/Lo Marrone will die by the OC/QB & go back to prove that he can bring another losing college squad back to .500 status .. YAY !! GO DOUG !!
  24. From what is being written the Bills are looking to trade Urbik & Graham's time looks to be close to done as a Bill & they are still looking to upgrade at the back up QB position correct ? Plus after the past QB blunders of these last 3 years how bad could this be ?? Well let's throw this thought around & see what you soft spoken, none opinionated Bills fans think about this !! Seeing as we have a bit of a history with sending players to the west coast I was watching the Raiders game a few nights ago & the 3rd string QB Matt Mcgloin looked like a gun slinger . Fast release , accurate with his throws , not afraid to put it in some tight places . So here's the thought . Let's have Doug send Urbik & TJ Graham to Oakland seeing as it looks like neither will be here this year for Mcgloin as our new back up QB ... TAH DAH !! I don't think it would be to hard to get Mcgloin to come in as a number 2 seeing as he is more than likely behind Schaub & Carr which ever way it goes as the #3 . Plus the Raiders have always liked speedy receivers & could use some depth on the O line . That's all, your turn reasonable, understanding, none opinionated Bills fans that you all are !! Shred it !!
  25. Very nicely put you speak nothing but the truth sir !!
