Beloved Buffalo Bill Ruben Brown was drafted by the Bills in 1995 - 14th over all in the first round and played 8 yrs in a Bills uni which during that time he was a rock on the O line and very dependable at 6' 3" tall 300 lbs . He left to go to Chi town in 2003 during his 13 yr career he played and started in 181 games he was a 4 time all pro a 9 time pro bowler 8 consecutive pro bowls were with the Bills . Only 2 other Bills had 8+ pro bowls those 2 players being Bruce Smith (11) and Billy Shaw (8) . Guard isn't a very sexy position in the NFL and stats are hard to come by about the only way you can tell if someone at the position had a good career is how many times he was voted to the pro bowl and maybe how many play off games those teams were in but there really aren't many other accolades a guard can get . I don't know if his career qualifies for the HOF i would think its right there though but i do believe that he should at the very least be on the Bills WOF he will always be talked about as one of the great Bills in Buffalo's history .

What ever it is it's his fault i do know that ... If he would have bought the team the helmets would have been red . I wondered when they changed back to the white helmets why they didn't go with the red seeing as the best the team ever did was with the red helmets . When they go back to the Super Bowl they need to let the team wear the red helmets in remembrance of those teams of the 90's !! -
So here's my question . How does a guy that's a career back up and couldn't make it as a starting QB in the NFL be a QB Guru that every up & comer goes to ? ? https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PalmJo20.htm Wow this is bad ... Did he just look at his personal tape and see every thing he did wrong as a QB foot work and all then decide he would pass on what he learned from his own personal deficiency's ?

Sir you must be mistaken the people in NYC are such a loving bunch of people they are just misunderstood ! ?

OMG what is the football world coming to a football fan wearing a jersey of a player that was with another team before he went to the team or other teams that he is now playing for OMG they should have called off the season ... If i had a Marshawn jersey i would have worn it !! Would it have been different if he wore a Fred Jackson jersey when he went to the Hawks that year or would that have freaked out the OP too ? ? -

Your post is Very true & i agree with you ! We all need to look at our transgressions against others as human beings (not by color) and ask for forgiveness for our ignorants . It is on you to ask for someones forgiveness if you have done wrong against them and you are not entitled to forgiveness as you said but me being a christian in my beliefs if you ask for forgiveness and it isn't given it could be thrown back in our laps . https://www.kansascity.com/living/liv-columns-blogs/billy-graham/article1294027.html It is always a good day when you can truly learn something in your heart to take with us as our lives go forward & i pray that we all can learn something big or small going forward to learn from the past to make tomorrow a better day & a better place to live . -
It was right after the 3rd loss after he signed the $59 million or so contract with the Bills when he started 5 & 1 then the wheels fell off . I don't know who was the FO person that said yah lets hurry up and give Fitz this contract they couldn't wait to sign him later after seeing how that season would go but they didn't and they jumped way to soon but i bet Fitz loved it ! After he signed that contract didn't he sign like 2 more contracts and was still getting paid at 1 point by 3 different teams ? the Bills, Jets & one other ?? I bet he just loved looking at his checking account balance during that time !! He may not be the best QB in the league but the dude knows how to play the system to make some cash ...

True Dat especially seeing as the state is still paying off the debt of the new Yankee's stadium, Mets new stadium, and the Nets new arena they have to wait until that is paid for and i'll along with some others will be long gone before the Bills ever see any monies for a new stadium . Thats part of why the Bills always get put on the back burner because of the black hole that is NYC .

Is now the time to remove OJ Simpson from the wall of fame and HOF?
T master replied to Beast's topic in The Stadium Wall
History tells us that not all people that did great things were great people !! That being said you will never change history and it should be recognized for what it was at that time and if so used for good as a tool to change the future . No matter if you strike him from the wall it's not going to change what he did good or bad ! My very first memories of loving the game of football was watching OJ he was at that time a football hero then when his trial and all was playing out on TV i didn't want to believe that this could be true and has in my heart tarnished the memory of what he did on the field as a Bills fan . Now when ever any one talks about him i want the subject to change because no matter how great of a player he was, no matter how many firsts he did the later actions in his life will always cast a shadow over his career and life . That being said there are people now and from the past that will be held in a higher regard by some than others (due to personal views of that person) but their individual history could over shadow the good they did if some choose to focus on the bad of that persons life . I'm not sure about OJ's name on the wall no matter what his legacy will remain the same it's just we as Bills fans won't see it and his part of Bills history will still be part of Bills history and when we talk of OJ (and we will) it will still be there . -
Rumor/Speculation only: Will Pats sign Kapernick?

Wow and i thought i was the only one that they only read the first line of your post and then made a ridiculous comment that had nothing to do with what you wrote . Then when you reply they bust your balls endlessly and tell you how you failed the english test on punctuation but their personal comprehension while reading is kindergarten level or that of a pot smoker and they get CRS but reply anyway ?. I feel much better now that i know i'm not alone in the ridicule ? -

I think it was just a young person in a high profile position learning that he needs to choose his words & actions very carefully because it can come back to bite you ! I would hope that his mind set isn't what the text has portrayed him as . We all as young people ( i know i have) done & said some pretty stupid things before we grew up enough to know that our words carry more consequences yet after those words come out it's to late by that point . Some never learn that lesson . I hope he has learned from this mistake !! -

This just goes to show the ignorants surrounding this subject for decades that starts directly at the gov't level and if you notice the biggest statement in the entire video is that because Marijuana is a natural herb it cannot be patented ---- BINGO ! Opioids are a schedule 2 and it alters peoples life every day for the worse not the better, Alcohol causes a ton of injury to the body and mind but the thing is they make Billions of dollars off of them ! Until the gov't can make their share which will be bigger than every body else it will stay illegal as a schedule 1 drug ! The U.S. gov't has had a patent on marijuana for years if you watch the documentary's by Sanjay Gupta Weed - 1- 2 and so on he tells this in the first documentary and shows amazing health benefits from it in real time with people that suffer from life altering disease . And in Colo. the dispensaries cannot put profit from sales of marijuana in a FDIC bank but they can sure run down to the county building and pay them cash from the sale of pot . Can you say Hypocrite ? Friends of mine have told me that if it was legal they would try it but because it's not they drink alcohol because it is legal ! Besides the gov't keeping it illegal other monies coming in to keep it illegal IMHO come from Big Pharma, Any company that sells alcoholic beverages because if it does become legal their profit margins just dropped by a third and more people will be growing it rather than going to the pharmacist for a pill that they can profit from . Thanks for the video good stuff it takes the blind fold off some of the truths surrounding the stupidity of keeping Marijuana illegal !! Very informative Thanks !! -
I agree and have heard that because of the Chinese & WHO with holding pertinent information (if true) about the virus at the start of this should take the amount of the stimulus money that the U.S. gov't has put into circulation to help unemployed Americans due to the virus should be taken off what the U.S. owes china in holdings ! Sounds good to me !

As a rule i don't like anything that comes out of Dallas when it comes to football but Dak is changed my feelings for him with his actions . I don't know what it will take to cool everything off given the George Floyd situation but Dak seems to have gone to a side where knowledge and understanding can go a long way to hopefully change things and is giving $1 million to help train officers better so that going forward there can hopefully be a positive change . It's definitely started conversation training may be the next step ? . But i applaud Dak for taking a lead on this as a NFL player !! https://www.nfl.com/news/dak-prescott-pledges-1m-to-improve-police-training-address-systematic-racism

N.Y. Football Teams - Bills, Jets, Giants, Who Pays for What ?
T master replied to T master's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Thanks for the research it's much appreciated !! I don't know why the NFL or the owners along with the NFL aren't made to pay for more stadiums sure the state & counties could give a tax break on the property tax because of the huge amount of "Not for profit" money they make that is put into employment of people in each city and those folks pay taxes by way of pay roll taxes . I don't know how they finagled the "Not for profit" thing but some lawyer really screwed the pooch for that one ! -
Of the 3 teams mentioned only one makes it's home in the state of N.Y. so my question is how much money did the state of N.Y. give to the state of New Jersey to build the 2 stadiums in the Meadowlands the old one being built around the same time as New Era then torn down to build the new one in it's place, or did they at all ? In any stadium talks involving any team in the NFL the state gov't puts up so much money in bonds and such to pay for the new stadiums correct ? Then there is maintenance to the facility ? So does any one know how that works in this situation ? If this has been asked before my apologies but i was absent that day ? if need be i'll get a note .

Nice ! Just change the jersey to a Bills for Moss & Pats jersey with the number 24 on it !! ?

Given the way Beane has went about his business to this point it wouldn't surprise me if he could work his magic in laying out the contracts to keep them all around i guess i'm just living with the mind set of the past Bills regime's . I hope you are right that would be awesome to see the Bills be able to be a really good team for the next 15+ yrs I would be more than happy to be wrong if that was the out come .
