Rotoworld analysis of Bills needs
Not at the table Karlos replied to Lothar's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
earth. Ejs problem is he is slow to see open receivers. I hated mcshays "slow eyes" comment but after I watched ejs college tape he definitely does have slow eyes and it carried over to the pros. Dont believe me watch one of his highlight videos(you know the ones that show his good plays but not the bad) and see his receivers have to slow down or be completely stopped when the ball is caught. Nix and Whaley have built a pretty good roster and with solid QB play we are a playoff team. QB is definitely a need. -
Personal Jim Kelly stories
Not at the table Karlos replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Every year at his camp he would give my uncle, brother and I a ride around in his golf cart to all the various areas. My uncle is friends with him. He is even in his book armed and dangerous. My family had breakfast with him at the Sheraton (millennium hotel now near galleria mall)hotel where the team stayed before the games. It was before the bills played the detroit lions. I was maybe 5. I walked up to his seat and tugged on his shirt and asked him how he threw so good. He laughed and said practice and hard work now go eat so you can get big and strong. During pregame warm ups he walked over to us and gave my uncle a ball and signed it. Sadly the bills lost to the lions. I never understood how lucky we were to be around the team then. I was a great time. His camp always fell on my birthday so he would get all the players to sign my shirt. Andre reed brought me over to warren moon and played pickle in the middle withe for a while until howard ballard came and scared the crap outta me -

didnt goodell say any new stadium that fits the criteria (domed stadium if up north) will get a shot at a super bowl? It was a couple years ago when I heard this. I want to say it was a clip played on jim rome after the lions stadium was built. I may be wrong. Hotels are being built all over buffalo. Have you ever been to downtown buffalo??? Half of it is parking lots. 25,000 hotel rooms within an hour drive is needed. Im sure that between buffalo, niagara falls(not sure if international hotels are considered if so great) and rochester we will have enough Especially with all the hotels that are being built. -
I agree with you.Qb is one of our top 3 weaknesses. We have a playoff caliber roster. Qb is what is holding us back. If the scouts think someone will be good or great take him. Who cares if we took one last year. Its not your money and if ej has a problem with it he should work his ass off to make sure hes the starter and force the other guy to the bench or traded.

What play are you talking about? We ran almost every defense in the book last year There were a couple games toward the end of the year where we came out with a straight up 3-4 to start the game. But it never lasted very long. -

I would like a retractable roof just for the super bowl. But I love the ralph and think we should just fix it up like chicago and green bay did -

Manny should be starting over rivers. He can cover he can stop the run and he can rush the passer. He can do it all and has played 4-3 olb in cinci. He like kiko doesnt need to come off thr field in different situations like spikes has to. -
List the all time Bills Jerks
Not at the table Karlos replied to Iraq Vet's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with everything you said except for ruben brown. Have met and talked to him at length and he was very nice and funny. Jim kelly takes the cake for jerk of the century and that's after everything he has done for my uncle and family. With my uncle being friends with Jim we were around the bills a ton in the 90s. For my birthday every year jim would drive my uncle and I around his camp and talk with all the players. I even did a short interview with ch. 7 because jim was late. I dont remember any of them being that bad except jim. I hope he pulls through his cancer and all of his problems. For a professional qb hes had it pretty rough Andre is one of the most conceited people ever. Nice guy just deeply in love with himself. Thurman is weird. Always reminded me of uncle fester. Donte whitner rubbed me the wrong way when I met him Robert royal was a cool guy Maybin acted like he was the greatest thing ever. Byrd just didnt really talk to people he didnt know. Brian Moorman could either be a real jerk or the nicest guy. Just real competitive. Nate clements used to tell me "they spinnin" (referring to his rims on his orange hummer) Terrance mcgee was very quiet and shy. He was jacked for a corner. Winfield I always thought was gay (not that theres anything wrong with that) he had a lisp or something. Pat williams poked me in the eye by accident at the blvd mall. Kent hull was the greatest human being that ever lived. Ive met a very lot of bills in my life but none compare to jim kelly(he has gotten a lot better in the past few years) To find someone of that level u need to go to dominick hasek.
