Yeah because he is running for his life which adds "time" to throw.
That said there are some things Allen needs to work on :
1. Accuracy under pressure. He throws great in a clean pocket but panics when being rushed and is just chucking the ball out of there.
2. Stepping up in the pocket. Not doing so lead to some unnecessary sacks and bad throws.
3. Making better reads and progressions. Self explanatory and should come with time.
Allen was not my first choice but I believe in him and this staff and am counting on Beane to reconstruct this offense next yr.
I want the old OT back.
Edit: I like this better - both teams start at the 5 yd line , get four downs to score, last team to score wins. If neither team scores they get a new set of downs.
(No extra points or field goals, just TDs)
let's see how it plays out, there have been a lot of hot first time starters who played well for awhile only to falter later.
Hope he does well but I only care about what Allen does.
kaepernick is available.
Both.
it really depends on who is the BAP at Oline or WR.
there are some pretty decent WRs in this draft so maybe OL.
I'm a big fan of LT Jonah Williams from Alabama.
the OC can't polish a turd.
I'm a realist, this season is done.
there is no overcoming the lack of talent on this team.
If you were aware of this upcoming draft you would know it's loaded with defensive superstars (another reason to focus on the D next year). Along with some decent WRs and Olinemen.
Edmunds did not come down on Rodgers with his bodyweight as he put his arms down to holds his weight, the announcers were wrong and the refs were right.
Of course.
but him and some others who are never going to be QBs but have talent can be developed in the latter rounds. Plus he can play QB in a pinch.
