  1. Yeah, they'll get into there...and then cruise right on by. Come on; we gave up 35 to the Raiders. You think we'll hold NE to mid 20's...AND win? Prove me wrong, Bills. Prove me wrong.
  2. Thanks, I needed a good laugh. I'll say it: I don't think the game will even be close; I think we're going to get laughed right out of the stadium. Now, I really hope I'm wrong...but from what I've seen of both teams this year, I just don't think we're ready to compete against the Patriots.
  3. More convincing wins. Yes, they're 2-0. That doesn't make me look at them and think "yeah, they're a playoff contender." That makes me think "okay, we crushed the Chiefs (big whoop) and just barely scraped by against the Raiders." I want to see them UP 21-3 at the half; not down by 18. I want them to play to a point where the opponents' fans aren't saying "you lucked out," but "wow, you guys played a hell of a game." 2-0 doesn't mean a thing to me. Remember when we started 5-0 a few years back...and finished under .500? Sorry, but 2-0 means nothing more than "yeah, we can still finish 2-14."
  4. Brad Smith trick play of the week: Getting out of the negative points in fantasy stats. I really, really, really want to see this guy develop into a slick weapon for the Bills, but after week one, I'm not so sure.
  5. I can't find a clear answer on this - is there a free preview this weekend on PS3 for customers who can't get DTV? We're thinking about buying Sunday Ticket for the console, but I'm not going to spend $350 on a service sight unseen. I know that there's supposedly a preview for people who DO have DTV and are thinking of adding the service to their console, but what about those of us who can't get satellite? If it is possible, how do you do it? We downloaded the app, but it's asking us to subscribe. Help? Thanks!
  6. Got a bomber of Stone Arrogant Bastard, and enough Zweigles in the freezer to last the entire season. I may not be in NY anymore, but damnit, I can still have my Bills Sundays!
  7. I lost my bookmark for this...anyone know of a place in Lancaster, PA that shows the games weekly? Or is really good about putting on someone other than the Eagles and Steelers?
  8. Every time I've bought a Bills jersey, they player has ended up being cut within one year of the purchase. So my vote is for dumb, yeah.
  9. I read somewhere that even those were subject to blackout rules if you lived in an area normally covered by that rule. Misinformation on their end?
  10. I would not have given him another year. He was worthless with our team. That's not to see he couldn't be taught better somewhere else...but we certainly didn't know how to train him. And I still don't get why we got rid of Lee Evans. Dumbest move of the preseason, in my book.
  11. Dumb question, but is there any way to get DTV/Sunday Ticket, then cancel after the season without paying massive charges? In other words...can you get the service without a contract? I'd be willing to pay a decent price, split with my roommate, to get the games in good quality instead of gambling with the 'net every weekend. But I can't justify an entire year (or two) of satellite just for Bills games. Am I out of luck?
  12. Sweet, sweet, and sweeeeeeeeeeeet. Thanks for the info!
  13. Except there's already about 40 seconds between a TD and a PAT, and far more than that between an FG and kickoff or a PAT and kickoff. So using his estimate of 40 seconds, than an additional zero seconds per game, or 0.0 hours per season.
  14. And just like that, I despise him more than Wills McGahee. I'm all for cheesy songs...the LT Slide is awesome. But this...nope. This is just downright painful.
  15. Please, tell me what's wrong about expecting to be paid after being hired by someone. I can't wait to hear why this is such a horrible thing.
  16. Aw, how could I forget my team name from a few years ago? James Hardy-Har-Har! Coincidentally, that was my worst year.
  17. It's been a while since I've played, but I might bring back Ben ROFLburger.
  18. We certainly have a history of shooting ourselves in the feet - Plax could bring some great experience to the team.
  19. Because he loves to play football? There isn't a single person in the NFL who plays because, when they were a child, they said "I want to sacrifice all of my free time, and risk major injury, so that someday I'll have an extremely small chance at playing in the NFL for a boatload of money". They play professional football because it's what they want to do more than anything else. There's an extremely small chance of sustaining any sort of permanent injury, especially when you're as well protected as Tom Brady. I can't imagine why he would even think about retiring. It would be one thing if he was getting bad and the team would be better off with a different QB, but that sure hasn't appeared to be the case yet.
