They've needed this jersey change for a while. I don't think it has anything to do with them duping us.

I think that Newton's upside is too hard to ignore. He can really take advantage of learning behind Fitzy. I also believe that Gailey is thinking "ahead of the curve" and wants to mentor this kid b/c mobile QB's with his arm AND accuracy are hard to find....plus I wouldn't want to pass on him & watch him blow up somewhere else! For the $$$ we're gonna spend on pick #3, I'd rather it be on a signal caller. Cam Newton would certainly help sell those flashy new uni's we'll be wearing next season too. Just thoughts.

He reminds me more of an early Kurt Warner before anyone realized how good he was at reading defenses & being accurate.

It reminds me of when draft analysts tag a white player as a "high motor guy". I've never heard of a black player with a "high motor". Just saying.

Gus Johnson & Tasker are the best team IMO too! Solomon Wilcox, Dan Dierdork & Steve Beurlein are the worst. You can add Troy Aikman and Joe Buck to that list.

It seems to be the "talk of the town" today! I was fortunate to be flipping thru the channels last nite and saw the whole thing. Better than the RIcky Williams story & the U. He was definately B E A S T M O D E !!!! Very, very sad though.

Actually Reebok said there is going to be an alternate home jersey (3rd sweater) next year...the "3rd jerseys" with the classic logo that they wore last year are the new home jerseys. A white classic logo with the darker blueyellow color will be the new road sweaters.

Sabres: I lactually was just FINALLY getting used to slug. Almost to the point where I didn't mind it anymore, however I can't wait to see the new road whites! I'm pulling for the guy...loved him at Louisville & he has all of the tools required to run Chan's "pistol". I feel for us to have a good year, three things must happen. 1) stay off of IR...it has to be one of the main reasons why we have had so many poor seasons recently. 2) starting QB must be established AS SOON AS POSSIBLE....period! 3) Schobel needs to come back. We need his play-making ability off the edge. He's a class act & the 3-4 won't work w/o pressure.

Thomas was cut...Miami signed Dansby & traded for Marshall after cutting Ginn, but that's it for a 7-9 team...the Jets made the most moves AND drafted well, but that's only 1 0f 4 IMO.

I just bought an authentic McGahee jersey from eBay on Friday for $30 and just sent it over to my friend who runs an embroidery shop in Geneseo by the college. I paid $15 to have SPILLER embroidered on the back, so $45 for an authentic jersey with stitched name & numbers! They also charge $5 for the cheap screen-printed name if that's what you prefer. Now watch...McKelvin & Spiller make some sort of deal to switch #'s!!!!!! I can see it already...

I wouldn't mind our current uni's so much if they just incorporated the solid red stripe from the shirt into the pants (in a Denver Bronco style I suppose) and maybe use the thin baby-blue line from under the shoulders into the pants as well. I'll try and photoshop my idea. The pants are what need to change! They don't even match!!!!
