  1. I think its a good place to start. I'd prefer Derek Anderson not to make the team and another WR who shows promise. 4 TEs seem like a lot too....would have to see a lot out of Croom/Fisher for them to both make it.
  2. you think Josh Allen knows what MSN (who? what?) writes about him? lol Josh certainly will have a chip on his shoulder this season based on national disrespect, but I guarantee it aint because of this lol
  3. betting the over/under wins in vegas isnt my thing because its just not worth it....put $500 down and only double your money? I could put $500 in stock/investment right now and do better by January than by betting that on the Bills. But yes, I am certainly taking the over on that win total...its laughable really.
  4. Used to be HANDS DOWN Kentucky Gregs....unfortunately he has since closed down. Fat Bobs used to be really good like 10 years ago, then the husband and wife divorced and the business went downhill...I know people still really like it and I have no idea why (dry, sides are bland). BW's is OK. I would say drive out to Lockport and go to One Eyed Jacks or if you dont wanna make the drive, just go to Dinosaur (its a "chain" but a local chain).
  5. Again, which recent #1 WR has taken his team on his back and brought them championships? Thats not todays NFL. Even last years WR room would have found more success if our QB wasn't constantly under pressure and running for his life. Adding a bonafide downfield threat (I dont know how you can disagree with Brown being this...just check what he was doing last year with Flacco lol) and an underneath WR in Beasley was a pretty big win in upgrading the WR room. Biggest thing we did to help QB and WR was actually bring in some competent linemen.
  6. yea...hate on the bills for deciding NOT to trade up for a guy who plummeted in the draft. You must just really love pics of shirtless, muscular men. As pointed out a couple posts ago, Beane added a lot of weapons to the WR room over the offseason and draft...were you asleep? Check out the "true #1 WR's" in the NFL and where their teams have been finishing. You do NOT need a true number 1 WR to win in this league.
  7. home opener date sucks for me....same weekend as Borderland fest in East Aurora, so now do I buy weekend pass for the fest and just miss the afternoon shows and go back for the sunday night shows (in no condition really to do so post tailgating/bills game all day) or just buy saturday pass and miss out on sunday night shows? Damn Bills...plus itll probably be snowing by end of September
  8. yes, via twitter via newspapers from NYC
  9. Week 1 is Bill AT Jets, there goes the hope for home opener week 1
  10. I think you have that reversed....Bills AT jets week 1
  11. Absolutely proud. Anytime I travel I be sure to rock my Bills hats/shirts, and always find fellow fans along the way.
  12. I didn't say it was necessary, I said I wouldn't be totally shocked if they do draft one high. Beane/McD LOVE their CBs and definitely fall in the category of "you can never have too many great DB's".
  13. I would almost guarantee we draft a CB, and wouldn't be totally shocked if they draft one high.
  14. anyone saying trade Hughes needs to STFU, not even for a first. He is still a premier DE in the league, and not just a rusher. Stout against the run as well. If anything the Bills need to be extending him for a couple seasons. Can never have too many quality pass rushers, and as far as Hughes, he is the total package.
  15. I think Morse will be a huge difference maker on the oline (provided he stays healthy, but that can be said of all NFL players). I'm talking HUGE difference. Generally I agree with your post. We upgraded talent and depth, probably no difference makers outside of Morse (Brown could be a game changer in the deep ball game I guess). I am super pleased with free agency, about as good as I could have wished for. There werent any real difference makers out there available, those are found in the draft almost exclusively. The "spend a lot" in free agency model is not sustainable, that is true. I know that is not the model Beane is going for, but we had a lot of holes this year and a lot of money, so he locked up some short term contracts of talent/depth while we had the money and at the same time not hurting ourselves going forward cap wise. As has been mentioned countless times, Beane wants to build through the draft and retain our own talent, nothing done in the past 48 hours has changed that. In future years (when we HAVE the talent and depth) I would look for us to be much less active in FA.
  16. hes always been a good stick
  17. hes a fan like you and I, he does some media work for UB sports I think. He doesn't know any more than us. I think to give the tweet context he was just saying thats what he feels based on our connections to a bunch of different trade talks. I would say its more of his wish or thought than anything actually known.
  18. I haven't been called a youth in over 15 years
  19. you are an idiot if you couldnt truly decipher that both of those posts were not serious
  20. do you know how important sleep is to men over the age of 50? Tons of medical journals write about it constantly, these west coast GMs know this and don't want to die dude
