  1. I just hope it's not a debilitating issue for simply living life. Neck issues are scary.
  2. Plllllease... Firing Dennison was not going out on a limb.
  3. If you're gonna fire a guy, is it really dependent on who his backfill will be? "Well we were going to fire Rico, but we couldn't get McCoy so he stays." Seems like flawed logic. Plus, McCoy and Rico overlapped in Denver in 2009. What is their text exchange like if this indeed is the case? "hey, Rico, MM here. Did you know your bosses are interviewing me for your job?"
  4. First of all, it's not going out on a limb - AT ALL - to say RD may get fired. Also, what does it say about our front office if we are waiting to hear from a candidate before firing the existing OC?
  5. But Cordy projects to be a guard anyway. Connect the dots.
  6. There is a sucker born every minute. Remember the mods shut down the other thread because the poster said "they" were going to Chop House for a steak and then to Shea's for Lion King...Mods can see where you are posting from, which for the OP, was not in Buffalo. So if you're one to lie about your SUPER BORING evening plans, why should anyone take you remotely seriously about anything else? With respect to integrity, you either have it or you don't.
  7. This is such a huge offseason for Beane. What he McD do this offseason is going to mold AT LEAST the next 5 years. They have to get a lot right.
  8. Delete your account.
  9. I can see the headline now: "Bills Fales in Miami"
  10. Hide the women! He's the captain of the dreamboat.
  11. You can absolutely not package any picks to move up unless you get Rosen. If by some miracle he falls, take Allen. If not, draft defense with the first #1 and then Rudolph or walk away. This once glamorous QB class is a little iffy now by me.
  12. This move is so dumb, imo. I am willing to be proven wrong when colt anderson gets a ST tackle after 20 yards on a punt tho. :/
  13. Just to be clear, this guy is going top 5 and we have thrown very reasonable darts at him. Imagine what Beane and Co. (and all NFL evaluators) has on all of these guys - good and bad. Even with flaws, GMs love Darnold.
  14. That is why you come out now - good or bad. You have to take the $$. You go back and risk another "down" year or a big injury? no way. At that point, collecting insurance would just be like peeing on a fire.
  15. I don't 100% disagree. He is 20. He def can play the game. He just has warts; and so do most at his age. But the things I am cautioned by are his mechanics and awareness. His arm strength looks great on out patterns that aren't covered by a D that is dominating them at the moment. It's like saying a center fielder has a great arm throwing to second after a batter hit a single that he isn't stretching to a double. I dunno, think his stock is just a tad inflated.
  16. Ohio State is the most NFL-"type" defense Darnold has seen. Not saying he will be a complete bust, but everyone should tap the brakes. Ball simply does not come out quick enough.
  17. What about the play after where he had no pocket awareness and got strip-sacked?
  18. So does every college QB at a tier 1 school. In the first half, OSU made him throw into tight windows and forced a pick 6, a fumble and a dropped pick. That is the NFL in the preseason. Look, he may end up being really good, but look at all his games.
  19. Totally valid....But: you go to the pros now, you are going to be a top 5 pick with a world of expectations and lots of flaws on a crap team. You will get a high class rookie deal $$. Still, that is a lot to deal with as a 20 yr old. He doesn't - at all - seem like the second coming of peyton manning. Had a great Rose Bowl last year against a B10 team that sees different offenses.
  20. Couldn't care less about his Oline or opposition. Look at his throwing motion. It takes a decade for him to get a pass off; and in doing so he telegraphs where it is going. His wind up needs to be completely retrained. Super hard to do, esp once you are a pro. Old habits die hard.
  21. It's a Christmas miracle
  22. but he is a great dancer, though.
