  1. Titans are like we can’t pay AJ brown but heck ya on Calvin Ridley
  2. 100% agree. If it were Keenan Allen I’d definitely kick the tires
  3. I actually remember Hollins at UNC and liked him coming out. He seemed to be pretty clutch in big moments with Trubisky but lost track of him in the NFL. Seems like the perfect cheap WR that does all the little things our team likes (Blocks well, deep threat, aka Gabe 2.0 but a lot cheaper). I’m sure it’ll either be him or Shorter for the last spot and my money is on Hollins
  4. Yes. I think 6 in top 16 but to be safe I’ll make it first round lol
  5. It can just be a friendly wager. We’ll come back after the draft and gloat a little lol
  6. This class doesn’t have the John Elway, Dan Marino or even a Joe Burrow type but all 6 guys can be starters in this league. It’s a pretty unique class of QBs. Just going with my gut. We’ll see if I’m right
  7. 1983 1. John Elway 7. Todd Blackledge 14. Jim Kelly 15. Tony Eason 24. Ken O'Brien 27. Dan Marino
  8. You got Venmo? I’ll definitely bet all 6 go in the first round
  9. He didn’t get cut I would bet good money that all 6 (Williams, Maye, Nix, Penix, Daniels, JJ) will be gone by pick 16 (Seattle's pick) No matter how good we all think these guys are, All 6 have nfl starting QB potential and there are 7 teams in the top 16 (Chi, Was, NE, Min, Den, LV, Sea) that definitely need a starting QB and 2 wild card teams that could take one of these guys in the top 7 picks (NYG, TEN)
  10. Exactly last year 2 guys that should’ve made the roster were cut for lower level free agents and then they were picked up by other teams. I think Beane keeps all of his draft picks this year
  11. Man I hope with 11 picks it’s more than 7 that stay on the 53. Unless you think 4 of the picks will be used to trade up. I think this is the year all of our picks actually make the roster and aren’t wasted
  12. Unless we trade up all 6 QBs will be gone before we make our first round selection. Book it
  13. 100% agree. I love Beane but he’s got itchy finger sometimes lol. Needs to take some Ritalin.
  14. Honestly Rapp is the only questionable mark on an otherwise stellar free agency thus far. Not a huge fan of Rapp but I know there are still a plethora of safeties to be had and Beane will work his magic doing his bargain basement shopping for one or two. It’s a position I actually trust our FO and coaches on and we don’t need to overpay
  15. Exactly why we can be patient. Bet half of the guys available now will still be available after the draft. Play the long game and we could be sitting pretty getting some huge impact players on the cheap wanting to win a Super Bowl. How crazy would it be to get Khalil Mack, Keenan Allen and Nick Chubb all on one year reasonable deals after the draft. It’s a pipe dream maybe but possible with how expensive they are. I could see LAC and CLE releasing them to free up money
  16. 100% agree. Couldn’t be happier with the way we started our new season. We knew things would be tight but Beane found a way to still keep 2 key pieces from last years D in DQ and AJ. He got our best backup QB back on a cheap contract and he hasn’t overpaid for anyone overrated (well maybe Rapp). Now let free agency come to you, no need to rush and spend on one of the 20+ safeties still available. Hopefully the scouting department killed the draft prep and we hit on all of our picks. After the draft we hit on any remaining holes. Side note: impact players are still going to be released in the upcoming days and months (Khalil Mack, maybe even Nick Chubb) We’ll be fine playing the long game
  17. Awesome! Hope the contract wasn’t crazy but glad AJ is sticking around
  18. Ian Rappaport just reported Josh Jacob signing with the Packers
  19. Best news all day. He can fondle Pat’s 🥜 now. Good riddance
  20. He got me. Would’ve been fine either way. Dude is a trip though 😆
  21. Welcome to LT Mr. Van Denmark. A little bit of me thought this could happen. I’m not mad at it. He’s been very good for us but getting older and more expensive totally understandable
  22. They just said he was cut on NFL network
  23. This is not a knock on Pittsburgh’s supporting cast it’s about Wilson deciding too quickly He was in the most unique situation in NFL history. A free QB every team would’ve taken because like I said he is basically free (1 year $1.2 mil). Why rush? Just my opinion but I’d bet after the draft we’re going to see a team still lacking at the QB position and we will be like man Wilson should’ve waited and been the starter there. Again Pittsburgh could work out but wouldn’t that offer still be there after the draft? Steelers resign Rudolph? Maybe… but even if they do they’ll offer that same 1yr $1.2 mil contract because it’s a nothing contract that EVERY team in the NFL would give him
  24. Thought I explained exactly why in my post
