  1. robinson is being compared to the one and only ROB JOHNSON, I think i'll pass
  2. Haynesworth has publically stated that he doesn't want to play NT, hence the reason washington is trying to deal him, so why would we ever consider bringing him in.
  3. chan stated a while back that they were going to add at least 1 qb, so I'm guessing they wanted to add an experienced starter, and mcnabb was the best option to date, right now i'd venture to say that campbell is being explored as an option as well as all the QB's in the draft aside from bradford. Personally id like to get campbell and draft a qb, dump trent and fitz, but thats just me.
  4. fixed that for ya, clausen didnt get "whipped" he was sucker punched, he also had opposing players stomping on his toe when it was injured this year and was fine. Clausen is tough, alot more so than tim "can't take a sack without getting a concussion" tebow, or Colt "Oww I pinched i nerve out of nowhere" Mccoy, or even Sam bradford, who was hurt both times he took a big hit.
  5. Interesting that he has Mccoy over Suh despite the discrepancy of strength in favor of Suh.
  6. I also like Joseph as a NT, however, his height may be an issue, he is listed at 6-5, and NT usually are a bit shorter, I know Haynesworth has publicly voiced his concern about playing NT b/c he is 6-6, and has concerns about leverage. just a thought.
  7. when I heard we got chad jackson the first thing I thought was that he would be a return guy, and I hope he is a return guy, could be a steal in that dept.
  8. Lefevour could run the pistol, but there's no guarantee that chan will use it in buffalo
  9. i can understand trading lynch if you get fair market value, but evans, come on man, why would we trade our best receiver, other than his large salary
  10. glad to hear he did well throwing in shorts with no rush, pro days suck
  11. capers or washington would be my picks.
  12. see, I'm one of the no to mcnabb guys, so id rather get merriman, he's younger, and could mentor Maybin, Mcnabb would have to extend if he were to be traded, we all know that. So, I'd rather do the lynch for merriman str8 up trade
  13. Yeah I proposed that a while back, it makes the most sense IMO
  14. Yup sure do, and in my experience I wouldn't ever draft a guy with so many problems
  15. He's a highly talented big body possession receiver with a ten cent brain, the guy a one big walking talking red flag, I wouldn't even entertain the idea of drafting this kid.
  16. Nobody should bbe taking such a huge project in rds 1 or 2 NO TO TEBOW !!!!
  17. Vick didn't lose everything cause of dogs, he lost everything cause he was convicted of running an intrastate gambling operation that qualified to be prosecuted under the RICO statutes, also he lost a lot to his own advisors that ripped him off, yet another example of his own bad decisions coming back to bite him in the rear. With that said, as a player he had 2 good yrs and never led atl to consecutive winning seasons, now 4 yrs removed from legit starting experience, there is no guarentee he is as elusive as he was in his prime. In short, no thanks, I'll pass
  18. +1 finally someone thinking rationally
  19. Honestly, I never liked the jauron hire, but with chan I am optimistic, we do have a lot of holes, but I think this new regime has more savvy and drafting talent than any FO we've had since Polian left. I for one am looking forward to this season and what surprises it may bring, who knows I may even be inclined to renew my Sunday ticket if we draft well enough.
  20. Riiiiiight, cause the weather at central michigan was always peaches
  21. yeah cause Roethlisburger clearly is not nearly as good as Jamarcus Russell Where he played is one of the worst arguements to make, how he played is much more relevant, and how he played was great, record breaking, and elite level.
  22. No the MAC clearly is not equivalent with the SEC, what I meant is that he had a just as successful a career (since the MAC doesnt get BCS bids) and he put up equivalent stats, but with less surrounding talent. Chris Leak won a Nat'l championship with all that talent surrounding him, I am absolutely sure that DL would've done the same had he gone to florida
  23. I said he did more with less, tebow was surrounded by top level talent on both sides of the ball, not so much for Lefevour, if you wanna talk about "willing his team to win" DL did alot of that with virtually no supporting cast.
  24. or they are lying, OMG, no F'in way, a coach lying about any and all things draft related, thats completely and utterly inconceivable!!!!! But really I hope they dont draft Tebow, it really would be a bad move
  25. and his entire career-NCAA div 1 all time TD record holder, Dan Lefevour, why is it so hard just to give the guy a little credit, he played great in his time there, set all sorts of records, and basically was a key element in putting that program on the map.
