2nd Half Defense: What Happened
CountDorkula replied to RyanC883's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What happened? The offense stopped scoring. -
The average QB throws the Ball 35 times a game now. Good ones throw the ball 40+ times a game. The NFL is a passing league now. Its not uncommon to see 45-50 pass plays a game anymore. Buffalo ran the ball more than KC did last year. You could trade CEH for an average RB and the results would be exactly the same for KC. They are good because their pass offense is unstoppable.

Miami barely beat New England.

Buffalo barely lost to Pittsburgh. I’ll take a barely win over a barely loss any day. -

You need your 43 million dollar QB to not to play like a rookie. concerning that this was rookie Allen. Big step back. Needs to figure it out and fast. end of story. -
HOST: We've got John on the line, John you are on the Air. John: AM I on the air? HOST: Yes John you are on. {AWKWARD PAUSE} John: Bills are going undefeated. Super Bowl Bills. KC was lucky to beat us HOST: Thanks John. We've got Mark Next, Mark. {Repeat}

Except, of course, for the undeniable fact that every single morning My mother would make me a big ol' bowl of sauerkraut for breakfast Aw, big bowl of sauerkraut! Every single mornin'! It was driving me crazy I said to my mom I said, "Hey, mom, what's up with all the sauerkraut?" And my dear, sweet mother She just looked at me like a cow looks at an oncoming train And she leaned right down next to me And she said, "It's good for you!" And then she tied me to the wall and stuck a funnel in my mouth And force fed me nothing but sauerkraut until I was twenty six and a half years old

The answer is also yes. Any time your franchise takes a massive hit and is slow getting up you should be petrified that the season may be lost. That goes for any franchise, not just this one. You think Chiefs fans are petrified anytime Mahomes takes a big hit? Josh Fumbles in 2019 too. Josh Fumbles, preseason is not going to cure that.

We all saw how much Allen needed pre-season last year. If only he would have played a preseason game he probably would have been MVP. There is absolutely zero to gain from this and everything to lose.

According to Google Maps. 1.1 or 1.2 miles away depending on the route I take. If they move to the ECC south area than I would be less than 1 mile.

Will never happen with an OP stadium. Especially if open Air and not domed. Also, not enough infrastructure, hotels being the main piece in the direct area to handle it. THE NFL DOES NOT CARE, This needs to be said 1000000 more times apparently. Also, please stop acting like politicians are sports fans, how many examples do we need of politicians screwing up player names, team names and events to show that. The NFL wants money, if they don't get money here they will get it somewhere else.
-
The NFL doesnt care about this. They care about money. If It comes down to it, the other owners will push to make sure that the bills wherever they play, make the most money. I would say Oakland is a more iconic franchise with a larger fanbase and a more stable economy. The NFL did not care about that.

To point 5 88 catches in 2019 say otherwise. Single best season of all time with 116 catches in 2018 Ertz is a top 5-10 TE in the game today. He had a bad year last year, the entire Eagles team did. We have no idea if Beasley is going to play. If you can acquire him for cheap, he is a great safety net for Allen.
