  1. Not sure how anything I said even arguably translates to me claiming oppression. I just find people going out of their way to create controversy where none exists annoying. Apparently that's not what OP was doing, but others, like those I've mentioned, do, and they deserve to be ridiculed for it.
  2. Don't be that guy. Woke white guy is such a lame identity. You don't need that.
  3. Then why the reference? That's typically what the conspicuously woke crowd does to signal their moral superiority. If that's not what you were doing then that's good. I agree with your broader point, which is one reason I don't get too vocal when things go poorly. It sucks to have to eat crow because the Bills won. Eh, it's a pet peave of mine. My Indian wife doesn't get mad at the Tim Grahams of the world, she just laughs at them. I get a little more irritated by it.
  4. I stopped at "the R-Words." Sanctimonious white people who appropriate the racial outrage of groups who don't care enough about the issue to be outraged themselves, suck.
  5. Terry Bradshaw just said the Bills are a bad football team. I get we haven't beaten any good teams, but at 6-2 how bad can you really be?
  6. I don't like implementing a rule about it, but running up the scoreboard like that on high school kids is kind of a dick move.
  7. People with strong biases don't recognize those same biases in media because it just seems like objective news to them.
  8. It's not the non-sports stories that were the problem. It was the injection of ideology into the sports stories that was the problem. And it wasn't just ideology that you may disagree with, but rather that which declares all non-believers to be debased heretics worthy of scorn.
  9. I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that Haskins will be out of the league in 5 years +/-.
  10. Hot tip: Everyone thinks their religious beliefs are reality. You included.
  11. Here's the bottom line: Josh Allen has not yet thrown for 300 yds, and my emotional well being is staked on him being the guy. Therefore it doesn't matter if he can. In fact, it might be better if he can't.
  12. Like the saying goes: Get woke, go broke.
  13. "Team friendly deal" in this situation is just what they're calling it to allow Dak to take a fair market deal and save face.
  14. How do you engineer the posi trac rear-end on a Plymouth?
  15. If we really wanted him we should have signed him before he went into waivers rather than risk someone in front of us claiming him.
  16. Throwing for 300 yards isn't necessarily a good or bad thing, but throughout the course of a season you're going to have some games where the circumstances are such that a good QB will have over 300 yds passing. I'd rather have a guy w/ 200 yds & a win than 350 b/c he was playing from behind in a loss, but I don't want the guy who can't put up yards when playing from behind either. I'm trying to think of a good QB who doesn't throw for 300+ at least a few times a year. I can't think of one. I can think of a bunch of scrubs that fans made excuses for who didn't, but no good ones.
