Right correct, Mr. Saint. Keenan Burton was the other receiver for KY. He was drafted in the 4th and is now out of the league. I wouldn't be upset if we took him in the second, although I'd prefer Terrance Williams.

I don't get it

Tolerance is a bigger factor with pot than alcohol. A guy who smokes daily could smoke a few bowls of primo Cush and be just fine while someone with no tolerance could smoke half that & bug out. It's effects are not analogous to drinking either.

I don't buy the weak arm rap on him. He doesn't have a cannon like Glennon or Bray, but he can sling it accurately 50+ yds down field.

While Kelsay doesn't really excel at anything, he's still the most complete 4-3 end, other than Mario, on the team. Since this team will certainly play a lot of 4 man fronts, it makes sense that they would like to keep him until they have someone better to fill his shoes.

I don't mind the pile on. I think you have an opinion that's been emotionally driven due to a past experience, which I don't fault you for, but it does take away from the objective rationality of your position. This may well be true. I probably overstated by saying it is a "non-issue" and should have stated that without knowing the details a DUI arrest alone doesn't necessarily tell us a lot about his character.

I was firmly in favor of Bowe based on age, size, stats, and his performance in games I've seen. I've switched to Jennings b/c I've heard from those who follow the Chief's more closely than I that Bowe isn't clutch, drops a lot of passes, and causes turnovers. Jennings, on the other hand, doesn't have the measurables of Bowe, but is well rounded #1 receiver who makes clutch plays, still has a few good years, and will likely come cheaper than Bowe or Wallace.

I've never had a DUI (knock on wood) To expand a bit: I know a guy who just got a DUI. He blew .09 and was pulled for going 10 mph over on a very wide and empty 45 mph zone. He drinks frequently, has a high tolerance, and is a good dude. This is not the guy that's going to kill a family. By contrast, I know a girl who got a DUI driving like a maniac, speeding through red lights, with a baby in the back who wasn't even strapped into the car seat, while over double the legal limit. She is the type to get people killed. These two incidents are not comparable in my thinking. The first guy is of minimal danger; I don't consider what he did any more dangerous than someone driving recklessly, probably even less so because he was being careful. The girl, on the other hand, is a danger to society and needs to be dealt with much more harshly. But we, as a society, tend to see "DUI" and apply the same label to both.

Don't be fooled. Many idiots are quite successful.
