  1. yawn. It's not a matter of what I find offensive, it's what society has deemed to be offensive. Personally I'm not that offended by any of it. The whole world has become this hypersensitive pussified place where everyone has lost any reasonable concept of why they're offended by racism in the first place. When Jamie Foxx spouts off on another one of his racist bits I yawn; I could care less what he has to say. I don't pay any mind to the "white man is the devil" crowd or the "white power" crowd. I find them slightly less annoying than the rest of the mindless drones who automatically accept whatever the TV tells them to. Vikings is pretty racist. And let us not forget the Browns. I don't give a **** about the 10% who are begging for something to be offended by. So sick of everyone trying to jump on their victim train. Get over it people. Different people look differently, talk differently, and act differently. We don't have to be so !@#$ing sensitive about it. Get a grip.
  2. This whole post fails. Trying to equate other racial "slurs" to "the N word" is a contrived attempt to convince simpletons to buy into a nonsensical argument they wouldn't otherwise buy...and they're probably still not. No other word is like "the n-word". what other word are you so afraid to say IN CONTEXT that you have to call it by its first letter because pussies will explode at the mere sound of the word? You just need to accept the fact that you have no logical basis for your beliefs and your argument is nothing but emotional drivel, based entirely on unsubstantiated permises, that are loosely held together by false equivalencies. You should find something worthwhile to give a **** about.
  3. That's it. You're hereby disenfranchised.
  4. I'm really offended by anything that relates to race, especially skin color, because it makes me think of slavery, and my TV tells me that all things dealing with race and ethnicity are really bad, so instead of applying rational thought I just connect the dots and accept that any mention of skin color is tantamount to an endorsement of slavery and the holocaust. Who needs a brain when you have a TV? I never realized Mike Florio was such a tremendous kitty.
  5. You must have missed the shot to the knee he caught from Laron Landry in week 1. CJ isn't a workhorse back. Certainly he should be the focal point, but if he's being asked to carry the ball 25+ times a game then coach is !@#$ing up. CJ needs to be part of a 2 man tandem to get his optimal production.
  6. Supposing Levitre was looking for Mankins type money, that could go to a stud FA WR. At roughly the same price would you rather have Bowe/M Wallace or Levitre?
  7. How high do you think the Bills should be willing to go to keep him?
  8. Telling a girl she's ugly is unforgiveable. Unless she's incredibly hot or a total !@#$.
  9. I prefer Barkley to Glennon, but I like both.
  10. We have enough threads dedicated to Bowe, Kruger, etc. This is about low cost guys that could potentially have upside, or role players to fill holes so we don't have to reach in the draft to fill positions of need out of desperation.
  11. Particularly those that could improve the team without breaking the bank. Here's my list (and yes, I'm aware of the fact we can't sign all of them): Larry Grant - ILB - SF: Unproven but potentially solid player to fill one of our greatest needs who'd likely jump at a realistic opportunity to earn a starting spot. Delanie Walker - TE/FB - SF: His SB performance may have priced him out of range, but he'd be great filling our holes for a dynamic lead blocking FB, all purpose #2 TE, and ST ace. Rashard Mendenhall - RB - Pit: The guy's not very good & he's a POS who may command a higher price than he's worth, but if he meets a soft market & could be had cheap he'd make a nice 3rd stringer & short yardage/4th qtr RB. Austin Collie - WR - Ind: Looked very promising before concussions & a knee injury derailed him. If he's recovered he could be a steal. Ramses Barden - WR - NYG: He's been buried on a very deep Giants receiving corps, but has good size (6'6" 225). He's unproven but could be low risk/high reward. Dustin Keller - TE - NYJ: Coming off injury he could be affordable & give us 2 viable receiving TEs. Manny Lawson - OLB - CIN: His versatility could be valuable in the hybrid D. Has played in a 3-4 & 4-3. He can cover & play the run. Chase Blackburn - ILB - NYG: Not spectacular by any stretch, but we can't fully address LB in the draft. EJ Henderson - ILB - FA(MN): Out of the league last year but was very good before breaking his leg. At 32 he might make a good stop-gap. Ray Maualuga - ILB - CIN: He's not very good, but I've heard of him.
  12. This actually did make me laugh out loud.
  13. Regardless of whether or not the Bills look at Boleyn they should definitely look to bring in a veteran LB or 2 b/c this isn't the deepest draft for ILB & they don't want to pass up more talented players to draft for need.
  14. But if we have to pay retail prices the terrorists win.
  15. I don't care to see any 2nd rate or 1 dimensional receivers added. We have plenty of those. We need another high end WR.
  16. Eh, If he comes cheap he might be worth bringing in to kick the tires and see if he could be a depth/stop-gap guy, but I wouldn't want to sink money or hopes into him.
  17. If you guys are going to fight we're going to need you to disclose age, height, weight, and reach so we can appropriately take bets. Also, TYTT, it's only fair to warn you that RK is an athlete...well, he rides a bike. Don't think just because a guy sports spandex and calls you honey that he can't stomp your ass. Check this out:
  18. It's funny the way you guys think you've got every possible scenario covered. Anyone who knows anything about this topic knows that in the heat of the moment you're highly unlikely to hit your target with one shot. Guys on the streets break out into gunfire 10 feet away from each other and miss wildly. Plus, somettimes one shot doesn't do it. You want to shoot several times if your life is in danger or risk a guy with a bullet in his shoulder raising his other arm and unloading into you.
  19. As far as laser sights go, a friend and I were getting robbed downtown when someone from an upstairs apartment shined a laser pointer down on the crowd, at which point everyone scattered and we were able to get away. Fortunately I got away unscathed but my friend caught a baseball bat to the head before we were saved. That's who the !@#$ NEEDS this ****. You never need it until you do. And I believe it was Sodbuster who correctly stated that you never pull a gun unless you're prepared to pull the trigger, because hopefully the guy will back off and leave you alone, but not everyone's wrapped right and if you just wrote a check your ass can't cash, he might take it away, shove it up your ass, and pull the !@#$ing trigger til it goes click.
  20. I haven't wanted to pile on, because you're getting it from a lot of people here, but this is just dumb. Sorry, but it is.
  21. Nothing gets a lawyer's blood pumping like a high-profile misdemeanor case.
  22. Wait...So are you saying we shouldn't draft 6 QBs this year? B/c I heard that was the way to go.
  23. Patterson's main draw is that he has a really high ceiling. It remains to be seen if he'll reach it, but he's got all the physical attributes you could ask for.
  24. 1. Big Ben is a completely different situation. The aversion to him had nothing to do with on-field performance. People didn't want him because they like to cheer for their team, and even if the players really are !@#$s, it's nice to think they're not. It kind of ruins the fun when your team's icon is a complete scum bag. But with this Young kid you get the best of both worlds. He's a problem both off and on the field - and he's a problem in the locker room. He hit the problem child trifecta. 2. It has nothing to do with punishing him. It has to do with not creating another problem for your team. It's not like he made a mistake or just had some maturity issues - that you can deal with. Rather, he's had a long and consistent history of causing problems everywhere he's been. It's who he is, and a tiger doesn't change its stripes. Sure, if he doesn't work out you can cut him, but why waste valuable time and resources on someone who's almost certain to make you regret dealing with him in the first place?
