  1. I do think he's on the decline, but I predict it will be a gradual decline, and I imagine he'll still be top 5 for the next 2-3 years. As others have mentioned, he hasn't taken too bad a beating over the years, he's got great pocket awareness to avoid big hits, and throwing ability is one of the last things to go.
  2. So title dictates respect? You haven't given any underlying reasons that support your assertion that we owe the President respect. You've basically just said that we should because you feel that way. Care to elaborate?
  3. Were you a smoker at one time?
  4. Pooj isn't going to let a vacant stare, track marks, and BO get in the way.
  5. You shouldn't worry too much about what other people think.
  6. I've got to give credit for creativity and style, but I think they're incorrect about heroin's affect on the brain. I'm of the understanding that despite causing devastating physical dependency, that herron causes little long-term physical damage to the brain.
  7. I haven't been keeping tabs on this stuff lately, so take it for what it's worth, but food prices have sky rocketed lately. Any idea what's driving them up?
  8. Maybe this will help you understand This Is Your Brain On Drugs (Original): http://youtu.be/ub_a2t0ZfTs
  9. If you think about it, we got him for a conditional 7th in 2015. I don't want to go down this road. Watkins cost the Bills 2 firsts, period. If you want to play some semantic game where you can split the nuanced hairs between, spent, swapped, used, gave away, etc., then have at it. I'm sure it will be fascinating. My point was that whatever the sticking points are on the negotiations, given what the team gave up for him, his agent has the superior bargaining position. That's it.
  10. I'm leaning toward yes, but went with too soon to say. I assume we're on the upswing, in which case I think he's awesome. However, if 2015 comes and goes and we're still in the cellar, I'll reason that he's been terrible and I was wrong to have approved of his moves. That and I'm still on the fence over Manwel and the Watkins trade.
  11. The Volcano's about as good as it gets. After weeks of steady use the bag still only has a light brown tint, and just like Colt 45, it works every time.
  12. Eugene and Doug know each other well enough by this point. Even though they couldn't reach a deal with Jairus, I'm confident they'll work this out quickly. Although, after giving up two firsts for Sammy, the Bills don't have a strong bargaining position.
  13. Unless he gave the Bills a chance to match the offer I'd say it's a safe bet. I realize we may never know, but I haven't even heard it rumored that he did.
  14. If I may go off on a tangent, I'd like to share my feelings on Byrd. I don't like him. I don't think he wanted to be here, if the money was all the same I think he'd have gone anyway. I understand that he never chose to come to Buffalo, and he owed us nothing, so I have no ill will toward him personally. As a fan however, I'm glad he's gone, I hope he fails, and he can kiss my ass.
  15. I guess you don't care how many cops, lawyers, and probation officers this will ultimately put out of work as long as you can get some dank nugs, huh Cheech?
  16. I don't think you can separate Obama from the partisan atmosphere as though it were something he stumbled into. He ratcheted that up like no one who'd ever held the position. He took the "I won so get in the back of the bus" approach right out the gate & force fed his agenda with absolutely no regard for anyone who didn't agree. He's as divisive as they come. Edit: I just saw that LA had almost the exact same take as I did.
  17. I'll take the slutty prom queen over her chubby, chaste friend, even if there's a good chance her friend may slim down in a year or 2. Are we talking about Pamela Anderson now, or in 1995?
  18. You really wouldn't have to eat crow. It would certainly take the sting out of the price, but it wouldn't necessarily mean your strategy wouldn't have been preferable. If Beckham, Evans, or Enron puts up similar numbers it could still throw the decision into question. Personally, I'm ok with the move, but I don't love it.
  19. Reminds me of the retards that find the term "retarded" offensive. To my best estimation that started when VH1 had I Love the 80s, a girl was talking about LA Law, and they bleeped the word "retarded" when she was referring to a character that actually was clinically retarded on the show. Since then retards across the country have jumped on this retarded bandwagon.
  20. If he does that as a rookie maybe, but if that's what he's doing 3 years from now I'll see it as 2 1st rounders wasted on a lateral move.
  21. Ah, I see. I must have glossed over it the first time. So it was started by actual parents of these girls and is now being repeated out of support for them rather than an assumption of direct connection to them by American supporters. I'm not infuriated now. I thought this was another attempt to skew reality for max "look at me and my empathy" affect, like when teenage victims are referred to as "little children." And thanks for responding, none of these other ass holes did.
  22. Am I the only one who finds the term "our girls," as used in this context, infuriating"?
