  1. You're getting Mastershake all hot and bothered with that talk.
  2. I'm still unclear about the meanings of SMH and FTW.
  3. Even if we're out of contention I'd rather let Orton play the rest of the season to see if he remains consistent and continues to build chemistry with the receivers. EJ shouldn't be considered a viable option as a starter until year after next, and even then only if he earns it in camp. You're not doing him any favors by throwing him back out there before he's ready, and he's a ways away from ready.
  4. I feel bad for him, but if you're going to pin the loss on only one guy (which I don't think is fair) it has to be Mclovin. No question. With us up 3 in the 4th he fumbled in FG range on a play where the first, second, and third priorities are holding on to the football.
  5. Well, they both have brown hair too, so there's that.
  6. Disagree. I think bbb is a fine poster.
  7. Except it's not from my post. All of a sudden your accusations of spreading lies are starting to make sense. Probably the dumbest comparison I've seen maybe ever, but I'll consider the source.
  8. I didn't say any of that, but we can pretend if it makes your little EJ boner feel better.
  9. Do you even read the posts you're responding to?
  10. Funny. Orton has a sub-par game where he plays almost as bad as EJ does when he's on his game and the salty breath EJ fanboys are out in full force. EJ sucks unless he uses his legs. Deal with it, fanboys.
  11. I have no argument with this.
  12. I'd prefer a 9-10 wins option. Whether or not we make the playoffs is a pretty simple minded distinction because those are things that are often beyond a team's control. If we won 9 and made the playoffs would that mean we played better than a team that won 10 and didn't? And if we won 10 games, made the playoffs, and the QB played well but we lost, and the GM stated that loss was the reason we were not retaining the first decent QB we'd had n a decade, if I were the owner I'd fire him on the spot.
  13. Even then. If you get hurt that guy's not going to pay your bills. And if you get drafted to different teams you're not going to put him first. I understand sticking up for your friends, but the whole business of putting the team before your own well being doesn't have a very solid basis.
  14. Next year you might be on the opposite side from the guy lining up next to you. Loyalty in sports is an illusion.
  15. If I'm a coach I want a guy who puts team before self, but I can't think of a good reason for a player to do that.
  16. Your man card is hereby suspended for 90 days.
  17. I agree with this more or less, but I'm choosing to lean to the optimistic side for now. What could have been changed in season has been and all we can do is hope the offense comes together. We'll know what we need to know by the time we need to know it. Til then I'm going to believe Kyle Orton is the greatest thing since canned beer.
  18. If we can't get 1 win out of those 3 games then this is a pretty sorry team.
  19. Eh. Maybe. She's kind of cute in a dorky kind of way.
  20. A warm cup of piss.
  21. Wouldn't that be confined to the immediate area?
  22. But this election wasn't just the loss of the Senate. It was a major ass whoopin all the way down the line. As big of a pu$$y as he is (and he is most definitely a huge pu$$y) Mark Warner has a lot of support in VA and was the incumbent. That race shouldn't have even been close. But here it is Thursday and it's too close to call. That's the kind of thing that should have you worried. Like I say, I hope the DNC fails to heed the warning of this election too.
  23. I just finished season 7 and I have to agree. The last season I thought much of was the one where Opie shot that Fed B word in the back of the head. I've always had reservations about the show because it resorts to "gore porn" for a lot of its intrigue, but it has gone through a few solid story lines.
