Who is your all time favorite player from another team?

This is yet another example of liberals' ignorance of and disdain for basic economics coming back to bite them in the ass. It doesn't take a genius to understand the concept of substitution, but it still manages to elude their base. They don't get how increasing the price of labor increases the value of replacing that labor anymore than they understand that exponentially increasing costs of an individual industry (with paper thin margins to begin with) will increase the price of its production relative to its alternatives. Of course, the handful that are smart enough to grasp that concept probably love that because they've been wanting to make fast food prohibitively expensive for poor and middle class people. And knocking low end workers off the jobforce to inevitably land on the government dole just gets them another step closer to their final solution, so it's a win/win for them.

You're far more optimistic than I. I see the retards growing in number and the leftists picking up speed.

Do We Have Any Bernie Sanders Supporters Among Us?
Rob's House replied to Rob's House's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Going into last week I didn't really know much about the various presidential candidates' positions or track records in the issues, but I read Pride & Prejudice over the weekend so I feel like I'm up to speed now. -
Political Correctness Has Gone Off The Cliff
Rob's House replied to Rob's House's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Absolutely. I don't see why these ass holes should hold exclusive title to outrage. It's about time the rest of us told these candy ass pansies to shut the !@#$ up. -
Section 8 housing coming to wealthy neighborhoods?
Rob's House replied to Azalin's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I cancelled HBO years ago because I didn't want to support their propaganda. I'd have thought more people would, but God forbid they miss Game of Thrones. -
What about the workers that are no longer behind the counters because either the boss can no longer afford them or because the store is now out of business because a bunch of self righteous kunts who never ran a business, never made a payroll, and never crunched the numbers took as cavalier an approach as you did about placing a mandatory price on labor that far exceeds market value? I have a friend who owns 2 pizza places, works 80 hours a week, and can barely afford to pay his own bills, which are modest, while paying his inside staff $8-10/hr. I'll make sure to tell him not to worry if that **** comes here and raises his labor costs (which account for almost 1/2 his variable costs) by 50+% because some moron on a message board said adding $0.60 per pizza will cover the difference and he'd be willing to pay it. I'm sure it'll set his mind at ease. Come to think of it, he's white, so Fu©k him anyway. Hard to feel anything for a guy who came from nothing and worked his fingers to the bone to get somewhere in life when all along he had the white privilege of knowing a lot of other people who look kind of like him are doing well.

Political Correctness Has Gone Off The Cliff
Rob's House replied to Rob's House's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
People who value political correctness are self-righteous pu$$ies who hide behind speech and thought codes because they can't hold their own in a debate of ideas and logic. -
We're at a point now to where the reaction to unpopular or "racist" speech is worse than the speech itself. Just today I heard that WWE is wiping Hulk Hogan from its history, for a comment made in private that came to light, and Colin Cowherd has been fired by ESPN & denounced by MLB for suggesting it would be reasonable to assume players coming from the Dominican Republic may not be terribly familiar with the rules. This is just in one day. This issue is snowballing and it's getting to a dangerous point where the speech and thought police are great in number and harsh in enforcement. Make sure not to say or think anything that could be offensive to anyone or you may be next.

Depends on whether they've read Anna Karenina. -

This is actually really interesting. It's an excellent demonstration of the way in which word association is so often mistaken for logic. -

Bills should hire Jon Jones to keep Harvin in line. I hear he's available. -

I'm sorry, I thought you said you were going to use logic. Are we not doing that anymore? Or are we pretending that all A are B = all B are A? -

I'd even take this a step further and say that one highly educated in a particular field may be wholly ignorant of vast areas of his own field of study that fall outside his particular specialty. For example, I wouldn't want to consult my dermatologist on my spinal condition, and I wouldn't want my DUI lawyer to advise me on a corporate merger. But people tend to put a lot of faith in the opinions of those with broad credentials. -

In fairness to Obama, he doesn't have the white privilege of knowing he earned his degrees rather than having them gifted via affirmative action. -
You weren't left out because you cook. Clearly you were left out because you're African American.

NFL Coach says RG3 is "done" as effective QB
Rob's House replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He had his success running the read option. Unless he's in an offense that relies heavily on that I doubt he does much. -
I think the decision to leave Chef out is racist.

From what I've heard of this case (which isn't much) it sounds like the cop overstepped his bounds. But if she really committed suicide it's hard to put her death on the cops without some extreme extenuating circumstances.

Early 4 Way Presidential Poll
Rob's House replied to Dorkington's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I don't know that it does. Medicare, as the largest buyer, has the same dilemma communist countries have when it comes to determining price. Price is usually established where the seller can optimize efficiency based on the demand of multiple customers acting individually. When you have one buyer purchasing on behalf of the end user, who is unaffected by the price, you lose that mechanism and it becomes impossible to quantify market value. On drugs that are sold across all age brackets it's not as concerning, but for drugs that are nearly exclusive to the older generation it becomes a problem. There are other concerns, including collateral issues, that I could go into as well, but it's getting late. Maybe tomorrow. -
Obviously the price goes up. I'm not concerned about them taking jobs. I'm concerned about having millions of anonymous people rolling across the border in droves without any screening or documenting process.
