  1. plus he obviously sounds like gronk. but lord I watched 10 seconds and question you viewing this show for real
  2. Any reason you are leaning towards saying he does?
  3. They were hoping he’d step up pass rushers are hard to come by Pretty much the formula for DE and WR. Go get talent and when you think you have enough stack one more guy. we have the money and we have the need. It’s how we get to the next level
  4. one thing I will say- can you imagine if there was a run on backs and we missed out? mccoy-gore-yeldon could’ve been a rough trio to ride a whole year
  5. hence an over or under 5.5 Pick which side it lands on is the point of that structure, though I don’t really expect to follow that. It was just some jumping off numbers for short vs long, and exceptional vs unheard of compensation
  6. as bubbles go... they haven’t wildly shot up as a percentage of cap. It’s been pretty steady in the mid to high teens as a percent. The cap on the other hand has shot up a ton. 40m would be at 20%, roughly, when signed and fade towards 15%
  7. Haven’t watched him much, eh?
  8. Let’s hear them. done this year or next? over/under: 39.5m per year 5.5 years 59% guaranteed he’s going to be a wealthy young man.
  9. Bingo. it’s why we should push the chips in regardless of what you think of josh. Try to get the trophy and if nothing else give him every advantage to get over the hump and then sort it out later, because if he is the guy it’s easy to sort out and if he’s not you are at least rebuilding after a fun ride.
  10. yup. And unlike many of these teams with young QBs, mahomes looks to have the head and arm. probably forgetting someone but last team to age into this tier is probably Seattle? KC won’t be there every year ala NE but think they will consistently be in the conversation for 2 decades
  11. a turnover on a kneel down and a TD is a bigger. but not trying to beat up a young man in THAT moment. Just one of my football things that irks me a little as we see it so often.
  12. meh, nothing but green between you and the end zone it’s hard to beat up a guy but 100% correct he’d be better going down
  13. play was already blown dead which adds a curious dynamic
  14. Another spot that not scoring is better than scoring but can’t kill a guy for it
  15. Who is the mvp if it ends now? if San Fran comes back who could be picked?
  16. seeing the replay it looks like it just sailed on him more than a misread. I’d agree the target was the lane but it came out funny.
  17. I think it’s the right call but goes uncalled so often that it’s hard to see the flag there
  18. Duly noted. unrelated- anyone need a parking pass for the stones show? DM me for a great deal!
  19. only major worry on Sammy is if he’s 150 yards and 2 TDs he’s still likely less than 50-50 with mahomes who also probably had a huge day (Now that I read page 2 and see the surface level was discussed) I think a San Fran WR, any back or even hardman as a kick returner comes with the perk of doing it without mahomes. The league will be soooooo eager to hand him the award and start his legacy. Kelce, Sammy and tyreek have to be huuuuuge longshots even though any could have a great game
  20. yes and no. It gets a few guys coordinated on tasks they aren’t at their core always suited for. A couple big lineman running in space a back catching and all of them selling it it shouldn’t be insurmountable but kind of like man vs zone blocking some groups are just better suited for it
